It has been a tough week finding any real value here, so some stats to be going on with as nothing really stands out.
Saturday 28th October 2017
Norwich v Derby
Seven of the last nine meetings today have had Over 2.5 goals, and four of the last five at Norwich which ended 3-0, 1-1, 3-2, 1-2 and 1-2. Both are in form, Norwich the better unbeaten in eight but Derby are unbeaten in five and a decent game is on the cards. As for a trading option it is difficult with Over 2.5 goals the obvious call but I fancy the game may be a draw and 1-1 correct score appeals as a trading option.
Reading v Middlesbrough
A dull affair likely with six of the last eight meetings today being Under 2.5 goals with the last four meetings today in Reading being 2-0, 0-0, 2-0 and 0-0. Unders has to be the call but it is hardly original and hardly value.
Sheff Wed v Barnsley
I thought this would be goals and it may well be but recent meetings today, five of the last six, have been Under 2.5 goals. Wednesday have won three and drawn one of the last four meetings today at Hillsborough and look a fair bet at 1.72 (8/11) to win again.
QPR v Wolves
On current form there can be only one winner but Wolves had a tough midweek cup tie at Man City which may help the home side. In the last six head to head, five were Over 2.5 goals and in the three at Loftus Road, the scores were 1-2, 1-1 and 1-2. You could consider laying QPR but they are a bit big and preference would be to take Wolves at 2.20 (6/5).
