 It’s into week 9 in the Premier League this weekend and things at both ends of the table are starting to take shape.

With their 7-2 thumping of Stoke last weekend then Man City are now top on their own with their rivals Man Utd dropping points with a 0-0 draw with Liverpool. Spurs moved into third with a win over Bournemouth, while Arsenal and Chelsea lost further ground with defeats over Watford and Palace.

So, this week we get going on Friday night with West Ham hosting Brighton and Hammers fans might remember the last time they met back in the Championship they thrashed the Seagulls 6-0!
Onto Saturday, and loads more to get stuck into as Chelsea welcome Watford to Stamford Bridge in the lunchtime fixture – with 6 of the last 7 clashes producing Over 2.5 goals then we should be in for plenty of goalmouth action.

Your normal array of Saturday afternoon games that see the leaders, Man City, at home to Burnley, while bottom club – Crystal Palace – will be looking to back-up last week’s win over Chelsea as they travel to Newcastle.

We end week 9 on Sunday with two more games as Everton welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park – a clash the Toffeemen took 2-1 last season. While we end with arguably the weekend’s standout fixture as Spurs entertain Liverpool at Wembley and with the Reds unbeaten in their last 9 against Tottenham then Jurgen Klopp’s men will fancy their chances of getting something here.
