La Liga continues this weekend and, as always, we’ve got the best of the action covered.
Saturday 6th April 2019
Real Madrid v Eibar
Real do not do things easily at present and Huesca gave them a shock last weekend. The visitors Eibar have managed a win and a draw against Real in their last five meetings today. Eibar have drawn nine of their last fifteen so Real will need to be at their very best to prevail, but they should score more than Eibar so Both Teams To Score at 1.66 appeals.
Rayo Vallecano v Valencia
Draw kings Valencia, sixteen so far this season, visit Rayo who stopped a losing run of seven with a draw against Betis. Valencia are unbeaten in eleven winning at Sevilla last weekend and although they have drawn on their last two trips to Vallecano, they will fancy their chances here but 2.00 is a little short. Under 2.5 goals at 1.91 should offer a trading opportunity.
Barcelona v Atletico Madrid
This is Atletico’s final shot at an outside chance of the title, but they need to win, a draw is no good. They have managed two draws on their last five visits to Camp Nou, but Barca have not lost in the last five overall head to head, where three games ended 1-1. As Barca just need to avoid defeat, the onus is on Atletico which is not really their style, so it is hard to see a free-flowing game. The correct score 1-1 is 7.00 and worth a small stake along with Under 2.5 goals at around the same price.
Sunday 7th April 2019
Getafe v Athletic Bilbao
Bilbao’s recent run of just two defeats in fifteen, has catapulted them up the table and out of the relegation battle. Getafe slipped up at home to Leganes but still sit fourth and in a Champions League spot and need three points as they bid to fend off the pack. The last three head to head all ended in draws and Bilbao have not lost on their last four visits to Getafe, winning three of them. Both teams to score at 1.70.
Celta Vigo v Real Sociedad
Celta got themselves out of a real hole last week coming from 2-0 down at home to win 3-2 and keep alive their hopes of staying up but they need to continue to fight in the same way and other recent form suggests that is not certain. Sociedad are back on track with two draws after two defeats and have an outside chance of Europa League football next season. Games between these two in Vigo usually have goals with the most recent ending 2-3, 2-2, 1-0, 2-2 and 2-2 so Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 appeals.
Real Betis v Villarreal
Villarreal had won two on the bounce for the first time this season and looked like making that three when 2-0 up at Celta last week. They slipped up with three late goals and it will be interesting to see if that affects them here. Betis continue to be hit and miss, capable on their day but also poor when they don’t seem in the mood. The last three head to head were all Over 2.5 goals so that looks a fair option here, but I just prefer Both Teams To Score at 1.73.
