La Liga continues this weekend and, as always, we’ve got the best of the action covered.
Friday 3rd May 2019
Sevilla v Leganes
The pair have met five times at this level and both teams scored in all five games. Sevilla must win, Leganes are not mathematically safe but will not go down and may play with a bit of freedom. Sevilla to win and both teams to score at 3.00.
Saturday 4th May 2019
Celta Vigo v Barcelona
Barca are champions and that gives Celta hope as they have the Champions League to concentrate on and may field a “weaker” team. Celta have given themselves a chance of staying in La Liga with just one loss in seven. Celta have won two and drawn one of the last three head to head at home but incredibly are priced at 2.00 with Barca 3.30. Those prices would normally be ridiculous, but Celta are likely to win. If you must play, try Under 2.5 goals for small stakes at 2.10 with a view to Betfair Trading.
Levante v Rayo Vallecano
Three points for Levante will see them safe but Rayo need three points in their relegation battle. This could be a cagey affair and Rayo have won on three of their last five visits so are not out of it. I think a small Lay of Levante at around 1.85 could be the way to trade this game as they will surely take a point late on if they are level.
Sunday 5th May 2019
Getafe v Girona
Getafe are still after that Champions League spot and have to win here. Girona need three points in their battle against relegation and I can’t see this being an end to end thriller. All three previous meetings today at this level were Under 2.5 goals with the last two ending 1-1. Trade correct scores 1-0 and 1-1 and with a bit of luck we can get a green book.
Valladolid v Athletic Bilbao
Valladolid are in last chance saloon and take on a Bilbao side still hopeful of Europa League football next season so they cannot take them lightly. They have not beaten Bilbao in the five most recent head to head at this level but as they have to win odds of around 2.80 appeal as a Betfair Trading option. They may not win but we might be able to make money out of the game if they go for it early.
