Villarreal v Real Betis
No draw in the last six meetings, but the previous three had ended level. Villarreal have won the last three head to head at home by 2-1, 3-1 and 2-0. Betis have struggled for goals, but Villarreal have managed twelve in their five games. Both teams to score is only 1.61 and although that should happen, it is poor value. Try Villarreal to win at 1.91 and trade for stake back if they lead.

Athletic Bilbao v Valencia
Valencia have lost both of their away games, so it is not ideal that they travel to Bilbao who are unbeaten and have won their three home games all to Nil. Athletic have conceded just one goal but have scored only six. This game has the makings of Under 2.5 goals as the last three head to head also ended that way, however the bookies also figure that and offer 1.50. I would be inclined to try Bilbao at 2.40.
Getafe v Barcelona
Barcelona have won on their last three visits to Getafe but have only scored twice in all three games. They have not started the season in top form and lost last week at Granada. Getafe ended a run of three draws with a 4-2 home win over Mallorca. You could not entertain Barca at 1.50, but we could have a small interest on Barcelona -1 on the handicap at 2.30.
Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid
Not quite El Clasico, but a big game all the same and probably a must win game for the visitors who are under pressure, despite being unbeaten. Atletico started the season well with three wins but have slipped up with a defeat and a draw in their last two. Real have won three and drawn two but it is the manner of their play that has raised eyebrows. The last five head to head with Atletico at home, have seen two draws, a home win and two wins for Real by 1-3 and 0-3. Chance Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 and trade out if two first half goals.

Sevilla v Real Sociedad
Sevilla and Sociedad are still flying high and there is never too much between these two with three wins apiece and two draws in the last eight meetings. Sevilla have won the last two games in Seville by 5-2 and 1-0 with a 0-0 draw in San Sebastian sandwiched in between. Sociedad look a little overpriced at 4.60 and can be backed with a view to trading if they lead.
Eibar v Celta Vigo
Many will have this down as Unders as both drew 0-0 last weekend and four of the last five head to head in Eibar finished Unders. Celta have won three of the last four overall meetings including one in Eibar by 4-0. Lay Eibar at 2.30.
Espanyol v Real Valladolid
Two sides not in the best of form, Espanyol have lost all three home games, Valladolid have not won since the opening day of the season. No real conclusions to draw from recent head to head although Espanyol won the last two meetings in Barcelona by 3-1 and 4-2. Both teams to score at 2.00 looks a fair enough option.
Alaves v Mallorca
All recent meetings were at a lower level but Alaves won the last three head to head at home. All five Alaves games this season were Under 2.5 goals and they have scored just two but also conceded only twice. Mallorca have scored four but let in eight and the defence is their problem although four of those were at Getafe last weekend. Lay Alaves at 2.00 and trade if they go behind.
