We’ve reached fever-pitch in the last few days, with less than three weeks to go until the public testnet launch. Sparks are practically flying off the SmartDec developers as they continue to stress test the platform. You saw for yourselves on Friday a demo of the upcoming exchange. We have an exciting week ahead of us, starting off strong with our Treasury selling out for the first time ever! Plus, get ready for tomorrow’s live AMA as SmartDec’s lead dev will discuss everything you need to know about the Digitext Testnet.

The Digitex Futures Demo

We’re pretty sure that you’ve already watched Adam’s walk-through demo of the Digitex Futures platform by now. If you haven’t, be sure to check it out! We’re still working on smoothing out some bugs and we know that you’ll help us find more during the beta period, but we’re pretty happy with how awesome it looks so far.

With the one-click trading ladder interface, as Adam explains, the most striking thing about the UI is all the things the user doesn’t have to do! That includes taking their eyes off the price action that is moving up and down constantly, switching tabs, using the keyboard, or any additional mouse clicks. Digitex traders will not only enjoy zero fees; they’ll love the ease of use and single-click trading as well.

Live AMA Tomorrow Afternoon

All in all, the demo has been extremely well received by the community. We know you have questions and we’re already jotting them all down. Our dedicated Telegram admin Jolien is even running a poll about the preferred tick size you’d like to see and whether it should be $1 or $5.

Digitex Treasury Sell Out

Ever since we shared clips of our UI and dropped the demo, our Digitex Treasury has sold out for the first time ever! We’ve sold 19.5 million DGTX over the last three weeks and we’re pretty excited about it. The testnet may be with play DGTX only, but if you’re excited about commission-free trading, it won’t be long before we’ll be hitting the mainnet–and it looks as if DGTX fans are getting as excited as we are.

The next treasury release is Dec 1 and we’re thrilled with the response so far. It’s proving to be a successful and sustainable revenue model allowing us to finance ongoing development and marketing of the exchange. Moreover, it shows that our investors understand that now is a good time to buy DGTX. We may have some time to go before the mainnet but the sellout proves that buyers are becoming more confident in our overall product.
