  • 13:10 Sat 05 April 2025 DRAGONBET BORN FROM THE BETTING RING MARES' NOVICES' HURDLE (4) Distance 2m 11y Prize £4,193 Race State Declaration Going Good TIMETOSHINE has made a most encouraging start to her hurdling career and can maintain her unbeaten record in this sphere faced with what appears to be the simplest of tasks.
  • 12:55 Sat 05 April 2025 quinnbet.com CONDITIONAL JOCKEYS' TRAINING SERIES MARES' HANDICAP HURDLE (5) Distance 2m 7f 149y Prize £3,248 Age 4yo+ Runners 9 Going Good (Good to Soft in places) Preference is for HEATHER HONEY, who made more impact than previously sent handicapping when fourth at Southwell last month and this further step up in trip may well unlock further improvement. Heading up the threats is Maura Jeanne, who ran one of this season's poorer races last time but was in good order prior. Noble Affair can edge out Joanna I'm Fine for the bronze medal.
  • 20:00 Fri 04 April 2025 WEEKLY £5 FREE BET WITH BETUK HANDICAP (6) (D.I) Distance 6f 16y Prize £4,711 Age 4yo+ Surface Artificial Runners 10 Going Standard Connections have really found the key to COMBUSTION in recent weeks and in another race lacking strength in depth, he can complete the 5-timer. Silky Robin and Agent Mayfair both finished behind the selection at Lingfield a week ago but still look the main threats.
  • 18:45 Fri 04 April 2025 DUNDALK STADIUM OPEN ALL SUMMER MAIDEN Distance 7f Prize €7,200 Race State Declaration Runners 13 Going Standard This looks an excellent opportunity for FIRST WAVE to come good on the back of 3 runner-up efforts. Raykir likely has his best days ahead of him and is the obvious threat unless the betting speaks strongly in the favour of newcomers such as Never Ambling, Pedro Nunes and/or Starford.
  • 17:30 Fri 04 April 2025 VISIT WEXFORD BEGINNERS CHASE Distance 2m Prize €6,600 Race State Declaration Going Yielding to Soft The drop back to 2m now returned to fences is a plus for ASPIRE TOWER, who gave it a good shot from the front when third in a decent race over hurdles at Leopardstow last month. The 9-y-o is taken to open his account in this sphere. Westport Cove and What's Up Darling are feared most in that order of preference.
  • 16:40 Fri 04 April 2025 ODDSCHECKER SEFTON NOVICES' HURDLE (Grade 1) (1) Distance 3m 149y Prize £56,270 Race State Declaration Going Good CALIFET EN VOL finished with a notable late flourish to come out on top over an inadequate test in the Sidney Banks at Huntingdon and, with his previous second to The New Lion reading extremely well in light of that one's Cheltenham Festival exploits, Nicky Henderson's 6-y-o makes plenty of appeal now stepping up to 3m. There's surely more to come from Grade 3 winner Jacob's Ladder on his first try at a staying trip, with Mister Meggit another to note following his stylish win in the autumn.
  • 15:45 Fri 04 April 2025 CONNOLLY'S RED MILLS IRISH EBF AUCTION MAIDEN HURDLE Distance 2m 4f 150y Prize €12,000 Race State Declaration Going Yielding to Soft KISH BANK arrives on the back of two creditable runner-up efforts, pulling clear of the remainder when second at Fairyhouse last time out. He should be suited by this step up in trip and can get off the mark over hurdles at the expense of Happy Me who has been an improved model over hurdles this season, while Ufouria is respected tackling this longer distance for the first time.
  • 14:40 Fri 04 April 2025 SPREADEX SPORTS GRAND NATIONAL SPREAD MARKETS HANDICAP (5) Distance 7f Prize £3,664 Age 4yo+ Surface Turf Runners 7 Going Good to Firm (Good in places) GINCIDENT had the worst of the draw at Southwell on his most recent outing and, having joined the prolific James Owen stable subsequently, he's selected to take advantage of his much-reduced mark with the booking of James Doyle adding to his appeal. Shelbourne made a sound enough reappearance at Wolverhampton recently and should remain competitive back on turf, with the class-dropping Marlay Park not ruled out on his seasonal return, either.
  • 13:55 Fri 04 April 2025 DRAGONBET PROUD SPONSORS OF BATH RACING HANDICAP (6) Distance 1m 6f Prize £3,454 Age 4yo+ Surface Turf Runners 7 Going Good to Firm (Good in places) CORNISH STORM has made a positive start to the year, finishing a close third at Kempton on the level before winning over hurdles, so he is taken to record a second success on the Flat in his current form. Mamdoh has also been going through a good spell and could be a contender once more, with Man of The Sea one to note returned to this sphere.
  • 13:45 Fri 04 April 2025 HUYTON ASPHALT FRANNY BLENNERHASSETT MEMORIAL MILDMAY NOVICES' CHASE (Grade 1) (1) Distance 3m 210y Prize £67,524 Race State Declaration Going Good to Soft (Good in places), National: Good to Soft HANDSTANDS has created a superb impression over fences and with this race the target since beating subsequent Arkle winner Jango Baie in the Scilly Isles at Sandown, he has plenty to recommend him with the return to 3m also in his favour. There's potentially a fair amount of pace on but Caldwell Potter is a huge threat if getting into the same rhythm as Cheltenham. Stellar Story completes the shortlist.
