Derby v Birmingham
Both have struggled so far, Derby losing three of their last five and Birmingham the last five resulting in the sacking of Harry Redknapp. Derby used to have the better of this fixture and won both last season but I could not be betting them at odds on even against Birmingham. A better option is to look at recent head to head at Pride Park where the games ended 1-0, 0-3, 2-2, 1-1 and 3-2 and in fact none of the last twelve meetings today were Over 2.5 goals. Birmingham will be out to show any prospective new manager they can play and Derby must bounce back from a bad defeat to Bristol City so goals could be on the card.
Fulham v Middlesbrough
Not a lot to go on here with just four recent meetings today with Middlesbrough just edging it. Three of the games were Under 2.5 goals and Boro seem to set up fairly negatively away from home although they can hit sides on the break. Fulham have had four draws from eight games and Middlesbrough have lost just one of their last seven. The odds have Fulham favourite and I think that may be worth a small lay at around 2.40 (7/5)
Wolves v Barnsley
The two have met at this level four times recently with two wins apiece and all games going Over 2.5 goals. Wolves have had a great start to the season losing just one of eight with five wins, four games being Over. Barnsley have struggled with four losses from seven and two wins, five of those games were Over 2.5 goals. The price of 1.61 (8/13) is fair and Wolves at 1.50 (1/2) are certainly worth including in multiples.
Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest
Just two meetings today recently and they ended 2-1 at Forest and 2-2 at Villa Park. This game should have goals but I’m going to suggest we c go with Both Teams To Score available at 1.91 (10/11) which covers us if the game ends 1-1. Forest have scored in seven of eight games and Villa looked a different side at Barnsley and may have turned the corner.

Sheffield Wednesday v Sheffield Utd
This is the first steel city Derby for seven years so past meetings today are probably irrelevant except to say that it will be very hard fought. Wednesday have won three and drawn four of eight whilst United have won five and lost three of eight this season. Both sides have had six of eight games Under 2.5 goals this season so another tight game is on the cards. Either look to trade low scores on the exchange or consider playing Under goals.
