Trading Focus
Just the Bundesliga as there are no outstanding stats in the Championship, and after a great weekend, we don’t want to give it all back.
Tuesday 4th April
19.00 Werder Bremen v Schalke
In ten recent head to head, seven were Over 2.5 goals and in seven both teams scored. Bremen have not lost in six and Schalke have lost one in their last eight so two in form teams. Bremen have scored in all home games except one and Schalke have scored in their last seven away. The major stat here though is that Schalke have not lost on their last seven visits to Bremen, winning five and drawing two. With that in mind we could look at both teams to score or Overs but I prefer a Lay of the home side.
19.00 Koln v Frankfurt
In five recent meetings today at this level, four were Over 2.5 goals, four Over 3.5 goals and three Over 4.5 goals. Frankfurt have lost five of their last six away to Nil whilst Koln have lost only once at home and in those twelve games, Koln scored in ten of them. Options here include Koln to win to Nil, Over 2.5 goals or just back the home win. I prefer Over 2.5 goals with a small interest on Over 3.5 goals.
19.00 Borussia M’gladbach v Hertha Berlin
The last six head to head were Over 2.5 goals. Hertha’s loss at home to Hoffenheim has really damaged their Champions League hopes and they cannot afford to lose here but they have lost their last six away scoring in only three of those. All their form is at home so Borussia will fancy their chances and they have scored in ten of thirteen at home. Hertha have not won on their last five visits here so we must go with the home side. Try 2-1 and 3-1 correct scores for trading.
19.00 Wolfsburg v Freiburg
Wolfsburg have won four of their last six at home scoring in all six. Freiburg have scored in eleven of thirteen away and have lost just one of their last seven away, including four draws. In head to heads, nine of the last ten were Over 2.5 goals, including four of the last five in Wolfsburg. In the last six meetings today, Wolfsburg have won five and drawn one so can be fancied at home but I just prefer Over 2.5 goals or both teams to score, preference for the former.
