German Bundesliga
Borussia Mönchengladbach v Freiburg
A tough task for the visitors if the stats are to be believed, as there has not been an away win in the last thirteen meetings today between the two. Freiburg have won only two of nine away this season but Borussia are not much better at home, winning just two of nine on their own patch. As for trading, a Freiburg Lay is the obvious call as the game looks to have a draw written all over it.
Hertha Berlin v Ingolstadt
The two have only met seven times with four wins for Hertha and three draws. Hertha have won seven of eight at home with Ingolstadt winning just two and drawing one of their nine away. Looks like a solid home win.
Koln v Wolfsburg
The last four meetings today have all ended in a draw and in the last nine head to head, Koln have not won. Koln are unbeaten at home but have drawn the last three and Wolfsburg have won three and drawn two of eight away. Those wanting to bet Wolfsburg I wouldn’t put you off but it may be safer to Lay Koln, and once again no big surprise to see a draw.
Hoffenheim v Mainz
A game for goals? In fifteen recent head to head, ten have been Over 2.5 goals but in seven in Hoffenheim, only three were Over. Hoffenheim are strong at home and remain unbeaten but five of those nine were draws. Mainz have been inconsistent, losing their last five away as they have struggled for goals. Hoffenheim to win, but probably better to stay away from the Overs.
English Championship
Birmingham v Fulham
The last seven head to head have seen no home wins, Fulham have won two and drawn one on their last three visits. Fulham have lost just one of their last four away and Birmingham have not won in four at home. In fact Birmingham have not won in their last eight matches. Fulham to win and I think there will be goals.
Cardiff v Norwich
The last three head to head have gone Over 4.5 goals with Norwich winning all three. The recent five head to head in Cardiff have finished 2-4, 2-1, 3-1, 2-2 and 1-2 , all Over 2.5 goals. Cardiff have won four of their last five at home and Norwich have not won in eight away. Both these teams are better than their recent results suggest so the safest option is goals.
Huddersfield v Leeds
These are two of the in-form teams in the Championship and it is a local derby so it should be feisty. Huddersfield have lost one in ten and won four of their last five at home, Leeds have lost one in nine and won two and drawn one of their last five away. The head to head shows Leeds winning the last two in Huddersfield and ten of the last eleven meetings today have gone Over 2.5.
Ipswich v Reading
I only included this as there is an outstanding stat, there has been no draw in the last twelve meetings today. Ipswich have had just two draws in their last ten at home and Reading have not drawn in eight away. It has to be Lay the draw.
