2.30 Schalke v Wolfsburg
In fourteen recent head to head, eleven were Over, in Gelsenkirchen five of the last six. Schalke have lost just one of their last seven at home and have scored in eleven of fourteen at home. Wolfsburg have scored in nine of thirteen away, winning four and with five draws. Both sides still need the points as they are only five points above the drop zone and Schalke have one eye on a tough away quarter final in the Europa league. Rather than try to pick the winner both teams to score or Over 2.5 is probably the safest option and I fancy the former is the best choice. Both teams to score.
2.30 Hamburg v Hoffenheim
These two sides are both in decent form and both have differing reasons for needing the points. Hoffenheim are challenging for Champions League and Hamburg are in a relegation fight. Six of the last eight head to head were Over 2.5 goals and Hoffenheim have won two and drawn one of their last three trips to Hamburg. I fancy the way that Hoffenheim are playing that they will get the win as they are unbeaten in seven. We can either try Hoffenheim to win and both teams to score as a special or Hoffenheim to win and Over 2.5 goals. Preference for the latter at around 9/4 (3.25).
5.30 Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund
The big clash in Germany sees Dortmund visit Bayern the week after the home side suffered only their second defeat of the season, the previous one being a 1-0 loss away at Dortmund. Dortmund have won on three of their last six visits here with one draw but lost the last two. Before last week, Bayern had gone five games without conceding. They have scored in all home games this season and Dortmund have scored in their last eighteen games so you would think there will be goals. However in the last six meetings today in Munich, only four of the games have gone Over 2.5 goals. As Dortmund have scored on their last six visits here the safest option here is Both Teams To Score.

2.30 Hertha Berlin v Augsburg
Hertha have fallen in a hole losing four of their last five games when in a strong position for a European place. The home defeat by Hoffenheim recently was only their second loss at home this season and they remain difficult to beat in Berlin and with Augsburg embroiled in a relegation battle, this should get them back on track. Augsburg have conceded in their last twelve games but have won four away this season so cannot be taken lightly. The head to head shows that in the last seven meetings today, all were Under 2.5 goals with four nil nil draws and three one nil victories. That suggests a tight game so try Hertha 1-0 and 2-0 correct scores.
The Championship has again thrown up some fixtures where stats do not help us much. There are a couple of games with an interesting edge but nothing to go overboard on.

3.00 Fulham v Ipswich
Ipswich have won on their last two visits to Fulham but this season has seen Ipswich as draw specialists, drawing eight of their last eleven games. They have scored in their last six away. Fulham have hit a tough patch losing two of their last three but have only lost three of their past thirteen games. They have scored in their last fifteen home games. The obvious plays here are either a 1-1 correct score or Over 2.5 goals or Both Teams To Score. I prefer Over 2.5 goals.
3.00 Birmingham v Derby
Gary Rowett returns to Birmingham and seems to have steadied the ship at Derby. He will be desperate to win whilst there is still an outside chance of the play-offs. Derby have lost one in six, Birmingham won one in seven. Five recent head to head in Birmingham have seen four go Over 2.5 goals with three draws and a win each. This could get tense and mistakes may happen so try for fun stakes 2-2 and 3-3 correct scores for trading.
3.00 Cardiff v Brentford
In five recent head to head in this league, all five have been Over 2.5 goals, three Over 3.5 goals and both teams scored in all five. Three of the last four Cardiff home games have gone Over as have three of the last four Brentford away games so the call has to be Over 2.5 goals.
