Saturday Bundesliga
Wolfsburg v Hamburg
Not a fixture that Hamburg look forward to as the last ten head to head have seen five wins for Wolfsburg and five draws. Wolfsburg are a decent outfit and should pick up all three points but those five draws temper enthusiasm. Another odd stat is that all five ended 1-1, it would be silly not to have a small interest on that correct score.
Werder Bremen v Borussia Dortmund
A fixture full of goals with five of the last six and seven of the last eight all going Over 2.5 goals. I see no reason why that will not continue as Dortmund have been keeping busy in Spain so are ready to go. They have won three of the last four in Bremen by 3-1, 5-1 and 5-0 so a possible angle is Dortmund to win and Over 2.5 goals.
Sunday Bundesliga
Bayer Leverkusen v Hertha Berlin
A similar set of stats to the Dortmund game with six of the last eight head to head going Over 2.5 goals. Leverkusen have won five of those eight with two draws so it could be a tough afternoon for the visitors. Leverkusen to win and goals.
Saturday English Championship
Derby v Reading
Derby had an incredible run but their last two results have exposed some frailties. Leeds played them off the park and they meet an in form free scoring Reading team. Add to that the stat that Reading have won four and drawn one of the last five head to head at Pride Park and it must be an away win. Reading also won in the FA Cup so Derby have a tough task.
Norwich v Wolves
This is not the strongest of stats but I have a feeling that this game will produce goals based on recent performances. Wolves struggle in this fixture with Norwich winning four and drawing three of the last eight head to head. The last three at Carrow Road finished 2-0, 2-1 1nd 5-2 and I think Norwich will win a thriller.
