Alaves v Eibar
The two meetings today last season both ended 0-0 and this also promises to be a tight game with the hosts in 19th place and their visitors two places better off in 17th. Alaves have won one at home and Eibar just one away this season so any points gained here could be crucial towards staying up at the end of the season. I think it is worth chancing Eibar away at around 3.00 (2/1) particularly as they hammered Betis 5-0 last Monday and can take that confidence into this game. For those who want to play it safer, you could consider a Lay of Alaves at around 2.60 (8/5) keeping the draw on side.
Real Madrid v Malaga
Real have had the better of this fixture in recent times, it is ten matches since Malaga won. They did manage a 0-0 draw in the Bernabeu two seasons ago so have some hope particularly with Real’s poor domestic form. Perhaps their midweek win in Cyprus will kick start their season, it did at least show that they can find the back of the net. If forced to play I would take a chance on a couple of correct scores so try 3-0 and 3-1 as trading options
Levante v Atletico Madrid
I have been betting/trading on La Liga for over 20 year now and I still can find stats that have me dumbfounded. This game has thrown up one that I did not know, Atletico have not won on their last six visits here, drawing two and losing four. That stat goes against all current form, but I have to assume that it also did that in the last four or five seasons when Atletico were at the top of their game. Atletico are unbeaten away this season in fact the last time they lost away was in December 2016. Levante have not win in three at home but have scored in all home games. Atletico have not been free flowing this season and if Levante score, they will need two to win. They could easily do that but I’m going to chance a small Lay of Atletico at 1.57 (4/7) and also a small correct score to trade around hopefully for a green book. Try 2-2 at 25/1 for a small stake.

Villarreal v Sevilla
Both games last season ended 0-0 but perhaps that was more down to not wanting to lose to the team that were the others direct rival for the final Champions League spot. Villarreal are unbeaten in six, Sevilla have won four and lost four in their last eight. The head to head here in Villarreal has been 0-0, 2-1, 0-2, 1-2, 2-2 and 1-0 suggesting games are always close. I’m going to suggest betting correct score of 2-1 either way which you can trade around or leave as bets. The other stat is that there is a high chance of a goalless first half, 60% of Villarreal home games and 50% of Sevilla away games have been 0-0 at half-time.
Valencia v Barcelona
The top two meet here in what should be a cracker as both are unbeaten. Barcelona do have a great record here winning four and drawing three of the last seven head to head. As well as Valencia have played this season, and I am their biggest fan, I just cannot see Barcelona losing here and there should be goals. The bookies have all angles covered so it is a difficult one to find a bet but I think I have found one small bit of value. In the HT/FT market we can trade HT Draw FT Barcelona 9/2 and also HT Draw FT Draw 6/1. Obviously we need it to be level at half time but Valencia are 6-0 Goals for and against first half but 10-2 in the second half and Barcelona 3-2 first half and 10-0 second half so both sides have a prevalence for second half goals and there might be a bit of cat and mouse early on. That stat also opens up other options such as Laying the correct score at half-time or backing most goals second half.
