Sevilla v Celta de Vigo
Three of the four most recent meetings today were Over 2.5 goals including the last two meetings today in Seville, two of which Celta won. Sevilla have lost three of their last four games with the visitors winning two of their last four. Celta games tend to go Over, four of the last five, with Sevilla more likely to be Under, three of their last five. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and with two wins in their last four visits, Celta are certainly worth considering at 4.50 (7/2) or consider Laying Sevilla at around 1.73 (8/11) to keep the draw on side.
Atletico Madrid v Real Madrid
This game could depend on the first fifteen minutes, if we get a goal there could be a hatful, if we don’t it will be tight but preference would be for the former as I can see both sides scoring. The recent head to head with Atletico at home have been 0-3, 1-1, 4-0, 2-2 and 1-2. Neither side have played well this season so it is difficult to make a solid case for either so the two options are Both Teams To Score at 1.70 or Over 2.5 goals at 1.83. Slight preference would be for the former.

Malaga v Deportivo
Neither of these two are in great form, Malaga lost four of the last five and Deportivo three of their last five. Malaga have won just once this season with one draw, Deportivo won three and drawn two of their eleven games. Malaga are three from five Over 2.5 goals at home, Deportivo four of their last five away also Over 2.5 goals. Two of the last three head to head were also Over suggesting goals but a word of caution; those two were the only Overs in the last six meetings today. I think it has to be goals, an early breakthrough would be great and 2.10 (11/10) is a fair price.
Espanyol v Valencia
Valencia are in my opinion the best team in Spain at the moment and deserve their position in second place. They are unbeaten all season and have won their last seven; they have also won five of the last six head to head. Espanyol have lost just once at home but I think Valencia are far too strong. The last fourteen head to head has seen twelve Over 2.5 goals but only two of the last four. If you don’t fancy the 2.20 (6/5) about a Valencia win, Over 2.5 goals is available at 1.80 (4/5). I prefer the away win.
Athletic Bilbao v Villarreal
This is usually a pretty even fought game with three wins each and three draws in the last nine head to head. The last five meetings today in Bilbao have ended 1-0, 0-0, 4-0, 2-0 and 1-1. Villarreal clearly struggle here and should be taken on despite them winning four of their last five and Athletic losing four of their last five. Villarreal can throw in a shocker as at Getafe when they lost 4-0 and Athletic did beat Sevilla at home recently. The question is do we bet Bilbao or Lay Villarreal? I prefer the Lay of Villarreal even though it is a little risky at the price but we do get the draw on side.
