Valencia v Leganes
Unbeaten Valencia, take on surprise package Leganes who have started the season well and lost just once in their last six games. Anyone who has watched Valencia this season will see what a difference an attacking approach has made to their play. They are also solid at the back conceding in just one of five home games and Leganes are up against it. Odds of 1.53 (8/15) are more than fair but I prefer to try smaller stakes and bet 3-0 and 4-0 to the home side.
Barcelona v Sevilla
Unsurprisingly, the last ten head to head have been Over 2.5 goals and in nine of the ten meetings today, both teams scored. The recent head to head in Barcelona ended 3-0, 2-1, 5-1, 3-2 and 2-1 so a lot will depend on whether this current Sevilla team can find the net? They have failed to score in three of five away this season and I think that may continue here. Barcelona have won four of five home games to Nil and that could be the shout here at 2.50 (6/4).

Villarreal v Malaga
Villarreal have turned things around and have lost just once in eight starts. In contrast Malaga have won one of their last eight. No contest on form, but Malaga are often tough to break down. In recent meetings today, seven of the last eight have been Under 2.5 goals and that is a clear option here as recent encounters in Villarreal have ended 1-1, 1-0, 2-1 and 1-1. Villarreal have been a bit more attacking this season but might have to settle for a low scoring win. My preference is to bet Villarreal 1-0 and 2-0 on correct scores.
Celta Vigo v Athletic Bilbao
The head to head in Vigo favours the away side with recent games ending 0-3, 0-1, 1-2, 0-0 and 1-1. Celta are struggling at home this season with just one win. Bilbao have won just once away but against similar mid table sides, they do score goals. Celta have not had a 0-0 at HT all season but Athletic have had four, so do we risk them being a bit more open here? It is an option to Lay 0-0 in the HT correct score market. Preference would be for Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 (10/11).
Real Sociedad v Eibar
Sociedad have had a big dip in form winning just one of their last seven after starting the season with three straight wins. Eibar are just as bad with one win in seven games and both sides have had six of their last games Over 2.5 goals. Three of the last four head to head were also Over 2.5 goals so that looks the safest option here.
