Premier League Stats: 25th-27th Feb 2017 – After the FA Cup break we turn our attention back to the Premier League as we head into week 26 in the English top-flight.
Just the eight games this week as Manchester United and Southampton are in the EFL League Cup Final on Sunday at Wembley, but still a lot to look forward too.
The league leaders, Chelsea, host Swansea in what on paper looks a good chance for the Blues to extend the gap at the top of the table, but with 2 of the last 3 head-to-heads ending 2-2 then the Swans will have some hope.
Palace and Boro lock horns at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon in a typical 6-pointer with both sides struggling at the foot of the table, while the 5.30pm Saturday offering sees Watford hosting West Ham – a game that has produced 2 RED CARDS in the last 3!
Onto Sunday and Stoke make the trip to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham – a match-up that has produced OVER 2.5 GOALS in all of the last 5 head-to-heads. Then on Monday we round-off this set of games with Liverpool travelling to the current champions Leicester – a game that ended 2-0 to the Foxes last season.
So, as always, we’ve got all the key head-to-head stats for all the Premier League games, plus our quick-fire verdicts. Enjoy!
