IT’S BACK FOLKS!! It’s been a long summer for football fans with no European Championships or World Cup competitions to enjoy – but, fear not, the wait is almost over!!
That’s right, the new 2017/18 Premier League season kicks-off on Friday 11th August with Arsenal hosting the 2016 champions Leicester – did you know that the Gunners are unbeaten in their last 23 vs the Foxes? While, the remaining nine fixtures are played out over Saturday and Sunday to complete week one!
Onto Saturday, and we continue with another LIVE match that sees Watford host Liverpool – and with the last league draw between these sides coming back in 1985 then the stats say we should get a result (one way, or another here).
We’ve the normal Saturday 3pm games with Chelsea v Burnley one of the highlights, while we round off the Saturday games with newly-promoted Brighton welcoming Man City – it will be their first clash since 2008!
Onto Sunday, and we round off the games with Newcastle vs Tottenham – the last time they met in the 2015/16 season the Toon Army did the double over the Londoners – while we end with Man Utd vs West Ham and with the Red Devils unbeaten in their last 9 home league games over the Hammers then Jose Mourhino’s men will fancy their chances here.
