England v Croatia 14:00
England take on Croatia for the third time this year and in another repeat of that dreaded World Cup semi-final.
The Three Lions lost that one 2-1 in extra-time, while their meeting recently ended 0-0 in Croatia – meaning the last two meetings today between the sides have ended all-square.
They both come into this Nations League game off the back of good recent wins too – with England thrashing USA 3-0 on Thursday, while Croatia took care of Spain 3-2 on the same night.
Despite this it’s still Spain (6 points) that top the A4 Nations League Group but a win for either Croatia or England, who are both on four points, will see them head to the summit.
The match betting sees England at 1.95, with the draw 3.50 and Croatia 3.75 – but with the FIFA World Rankings seeing England in fifth and Croatia in fourth you couldn’t get a tighter game on paper.
With team news likely to be a be cagey until nearer kick-off the scoring markets are probably not worth getting involved with until the teams are announced.
The last three head-to-heads played in England went OVER 2.5 GOALS, and with both teams involved in high-scoring games recently then this option at 1.80 might appeal.
Both teams to score is also a potentially good option as this bet has paid out in 4 of the last 5 head-to-heads and also the last three played in England – at 1.72 we are not going to get rich, but this looks like a bet that will at least give us a run for our money and gets the call.
JUICESTORM VERDICT: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @1.75
