Another big week in the Spanish La Liga with games starting from Saturday 5th May- our football trading expert take a look at the best of the action.
The league is sewn up with Barcelona deserved champions and Atletico and Real Madrid likely to finish second and third. Fourth place should go to Valencia but the battle is on for Europa League places between Betis, Villarreal and possibly Sevilla after Getafe and Girona virtually blew it by drawing with each other at the weekend. Relegation is also sorted and past history tells us to leave alone some of the games that have nothing resting on them.
Happy Trading!

Athletic Bilbao v Real Betis
On current form there can be only one winner with Betis at the top of their game and Bilbao looking like they have retired for the season. Betis have tightened up their defence and are now unbeaten in eight conceding just two goals. The hosts have lost three of their last four and look to have settled for the end of the season. The last five meetings today between the two have all ended Over 2.5 goals and both teams scored in them all. Those are both options, the first is a little safer if you can get the 1.73 on offer but I prefer to take a chance on goals and Over 2.5 goals at 1.83.
Villarreal v Valencia
This local Derby could have a bit of edge with Villarreal needing the points and Valencia probably just playing out the season but also likely to want to avenge the two defeats they have suffered in their last two meetings today. Valencia have won on two of their last three visits to Villarreal and the quote of 3.40 looks a touch to high and that is worth a small investment.

Barcelona v Real Madrid
“El Clásico” is always a game to look at, even though the result will make no difference in terms of league positions. However you can be sure that Real have two targets left this season, to win the Champions League and to beat Barcelona in the Camp Nou and spoil the “Champions Party”. Can they do it? Recent meetings today between the two suggest Real do better away than at home in this fixture, on their last six visits they have won two and drawn two and scored in all six. Both teams to score is an option but at 1.40 I can let this pass as with Over 2.5 goals which is the same price. A lot may depend on the strength of the team that Zidane puts out so I recommend waiting until that is released. If it is a decent team we could chance Real Madrid – Draw no bet at 3.40 and hope that Barca have had too much partying.
