Villarreal v Atletico Madrid

Villarreal have won three of the last four head to head at home with last season’s game ending in a 1-1 draw. Villarreal have a good recent record against Atleti losing just one of the last eight overall head to head, winning four. Villarreal played well in defeat at Valencia and Atletico suffered a home defeat via a late winner at home to Barcelona. On the stats we must Lay Atletico at around 2.40.

Real Madrid v Espanyol

Real have won the last five meetings today in the Bernabeu to nil and ten of the last eleven overall head to head. On this seasons form, Real are absolutely certainties here. Follow the stats and Real to win to Nil at 2.00 although it must be said that Real have only won two games to Nil from their seven at home this season.

Levante v Valencia

Six of the last eight local derby meetings today were Over 2.5 goals. The last six head to head in Levante saw four home wins and two draws. In recent games this season, both have been involved in games Over 2.5 goals, Levante five of last six and Valencia four of last six. The 1.66 about Over 2.5 goals is more than fair.

Barcelona v Mallorca

No meetings today in six years but Barca had won the previous five and sit at the top of the table. Barcelona dominated Atletico last week and it is hard to envisage Mallorca having enough to trouble the home side when they have failed to pick up a point on the road. Barcelona have won all home games and the last three by more than two goals so -2 on the handicap at 2.10 is worth an interest.

Eibar v Getafe

In eight recent head to head, there have been four draws but only one in Eibar. Three of the four games in Eibar were Over 2.5 goals. Eibar have lost their last three and Getafe are unbeaten in five, having lost only three times this season, to Atletico, Sevilla and Barca. Lay Eibar at 2.80 and keep the draw on side.

Real Betis v Athletic Bilbao

Bilbao have won four and drawn one of the last five overall head to head and eight of the last ten meetings today. Bilbao are now unbeaten in five whilst Betis continue to be inconsistent but have now won three of their last five. Both teams to score at 1.91 looks like a fair enough option.

Leganes v Celta Vigo

Six meetings today at this level all ended Under 2.5 goals with the three games in Leganes finishing 0-0, 1-0 and 0-2. You would not want to trust either side at present as they both sit in the bottom three but at least Celta have managed a draw and a win recently whilst Leganes have lost eleven of their fifteen games and managing just one win. It is probably worth chancing Celta at 3.50 with a view to trading.

Osasuna v Sevilla

The last five head to head all ended Over 2.5 goals. Sevilla have won on their last two visits to Pamplona. Sevilla are unbeaten in seven games and Osasuna have lost just once in six games so we should be in for a decent game and there must be a big chance of goals. Sevilla are possibly a little short at 2.10, but at 2.10 Over 2.5 goals appeals more as a trading option.
