Sevilla v Celta Vigo
The last five head to head were all home wins and the last four meetings today in Seville ended 2-1, 2-1, 2-1 and 1-2. Sevilla sit top of La Liga on goal difference and Celta will be buoyed by beating Valencia at home, where they played well. Sevilla have looked good and I fancy them to win here but we need value, so I cannot select them at 1.53. We will try Sevilla and both teams to score at 3.00, as I think it is a bit better proposition than Sevilla and Over 2.5 goals which is trading at 2.05.
Athletic Bilbao v Real Sociedad
The big Basque derby and no quarter will be given. Sociedad have a brilliant record in recent years with three wins and three draws in the last seven visits. Overall the last three head to head were Over 2.5 goals with eight of the previous nine Under 2.5 goals. On the stats and on current form, a Lay of Athletic Bilbao at 2.00 and trade out if Sociedad lead if you feel more comfortable doing that.

Osasuna v Barcelona
In six recent meetings today there has been one draw and five Barcelona wins. The last six head to head in Pamplona saw four games Over 2.5 goals with five Under 3.5 goals. Osasuna are unbeaten and have not conceded in either game but have found the net only once. Barca lost on the opening day, but they thrashed Betis 5-2 at home where Griezmann grabbed two goals. If you can get the 1.70 for Over 2.5 goals that is one option, the other being Osasuna +2 on the handicap at 1.91 for a small stake, based on the fact that they are at home and the big defeats to Barca have come away from home. Check the team news first, and if Messi happens to be fit, go with the Overs.
Betis v Leganes
The bottom two teams with no points so far. Betis were thumped last week at Barca, despite taking the lead and Leganes have lost both home games by 1-0. Six recent meetings today at this level all ended in home wins. Betis must get points on the board and this is the perfect opportunity to win and 1.83 is a fair price.

Atletico Madrid v Eibar
Atletico are back in the “Simeone groove” with two 1-0 victories and take on an Eibar side who have started the season with three away games and come here with just one point following the first two of those. Eibar have not beaten Atleti in the ten meetings today at this level, managing just two draws, although those two draws were on their last two visits to Wanda Metropolitano. Atletico are short enough at 1.40 but are the likeliest winners and a better option may bet Atletico HT/FT at 2.10 offers little better value.
Villarreal v Real Madrid
Real were pegged back late on by Valladolid in Madrid last week and this is not a ground where they win very often, once in their last six visits, although four of those were draws. In the overall head to head, four of the last five were Over 3.5 goals, as were the last three meetings today in Villarreal. That is available at 2.00 and should give us trading opportunities.
Valencia v Mallorca
The two haven’t played each other for six years so this is about current form. Valencia have had an average start to the season with a 1-1 home draw and a defeat at Celta Vigo. That should give Mallorca belief and they started with a win at home to Eibar followed by a narrow defeat by Sociedad, to a late winner. I think Mallorca can frustrate Valencia enough to make a Lay of the home side at 1.40 present a trading out opportunity.
