The Spanish league continues to provide some strange results so we will continue to tread carefully at least until the next International break. Atletico seem to have got their act together and Barcelona are in good shape despite their draw at home last week. Real have settled down really well under the new regime and the title should be a decent battle between the three.

Rayo Vallecano v Espanyol
Espanyol have been a bit of a surprise package so far and have won on two of their last three visits to Vallecano so in their current form, should be considered. Five of the last six head to head have gone Over 2.5 goals but a note of caution, Espanyol look a well drilled unit this season and five of their six games this season have been Under 2.5 goals.

Real Sociedad v Valencia
The question we have here is whether Valencia will play a negative game in line with their four draws this season and where only one of their five games has gone Over. There is usually goals in this fixture with the last four meetings today all going Over including the last two in San Sebastian. Probably the safest option here is for both teams to score which could still land if the game finishes Unders.
Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid
We are going to keep this simple and just look at the recent head to head for these two in the Bernabeu where Atletico have a great record in recent seasons. The last five meetings today with Real at home have seen two draws and three wins for Atletico. Four of those five games were Unders but I prefer to Lay Real Madrid and keep the draw on side. Simeone knows how to set up his side to frustrate Real and for those who prefer not to Lay the home side, perhaps trading the correct scores around 1-1 and 0-1 could pay dividends.

Real Betis v Leganes
Leganes will be fired up after their defeat of Barca in mid-week, but Betis are tough opponents and they really need to start winning at home before their season disappears in front of them. They came from 2-0 down to draw with Bilbao and that comeback was due to the wide men getting forward more which they need to start doing on a regular basis. All four meetings today at this level have ended in home wins and that looks the call here or as an alternative I can see goals so Overs could also be a play
Levante v Deportivo Alaves
Alaves have won three on the trot and in both meetings today at this level, Alaves have picked up the points. Levante have not won in four and their problem is conceding goals. As Alaves are rock solid at the back, I can see a low scoring win for the away side which brings in correct score trading options, or consider Laying Levante to keep the draw on side.
