A poor start to the LA LIGA season and it may be that we need another couple of weeks to see teams settle down and to fully allow new players to settle in. I suggest we keep stakes lower until we are more confident with our current season analysis.

Eibar v Leganes
After a poor start, Eibar have found some form and a draw away at Atletico was a great result despite the disappointment that it should have been three as the hosts scored a last kick equaliser. They had previously beaten Sociedad at home and should relish the prospect of taking on Leganes who have lost three of their four games. Only four head to head at this level where Eibar have won three and drawn one so they certainly have the best of this fixture and in three of the four games, Eibar have kept a clean sheet.
Getafe v Atletico Madrid
A local derby and one that heaps lots of pressure on the visitors who need to be winning these games if they want to challenge for the title. A last gasp equaliser secured a point at home to Eibar and they really cannot afford too many more slip ups. They are also taking on an in-form side as Getafe have lost only at Real Madrid and had a fine win away at Sevilla when frustrating the home side for long periods of time. There are however a couple of unbelievable stats that mean that you really cannot consider a shock here. In the last eleven meetings today of the two, Getafe have failed to score and Atletico have won ten of them. Atletico have won on their last four visits to Getafe by 0-1, 0-1, 0-1 and 0-2.

Villarreal v Valencia
A local derby and usually a tight one as backed up by the stats with five of the last six meetings today being Under 2.5 goals. Villarreal have lost both their home games this season whilst Valencia have drawn three of their four matches. Villarreal have won two and lost two of the last four meetings today at home in this fixture and this game is a tough one to call. I can certainly see one goal settling the game but which way? Maybe we should just keep it simple and go with Under 2.5 goals and trade out at some point later in the game.
Real Betis v Athletic Bilbao
In the last eight meetings today there has been no draw between the two, so those that like to Lay the draw could get involved here. Bilbao are unbeaten in their three games which have also seen both teams score in all three. Betis have not lost since the opening game but have score only one goal in the four games and that is clearly a problem. Bilbao have won seven of those last eight meetings today and with strong stats in their favour and Betis struggling in front of goal, they must be some value to win away. For those who like less risk, consider Laying the home side to keep the draw on side.
The Barcelona and Real Madrid games are tough to call as usual but one stat in the Real game which may help on your trades, is that in seven of the last eight head to head with Espanyol, only one game has seen both teams score.
