With the season nearly at an end, the title will go to Real Madrid unless they have a major slip up, which looks unlikely. European places are still up for grabs with relegation also not yet sorted, although Espanyol have already gone down.

Celta Vigo v Levante

Neither have won in four and Levante are safe for this season, but Celta need to win. Four recent head to head have all been Over 2.5 goals with recent games in Vigo ending 1-4, 4-2, 4-3 and 3-0. There has been no draw in the last twelve meetings today and Celta will be hoping that continues as long as they win! As you would expect the Celta price has shortened with Levante players probably “on the beach”. Over 2.5 goals is a possible at 1.73 but if Levante are on their holidays Celta might play the game out if a couple in front, so Celta -1 goal on the handicap at 2.70 is a better option.

Since the restart both sides have won just twice in nine games.

Real Betis v Alaves

Betis have very little to play for except pride and Alaves are desperate for the three points. The fact that there is no crowd may help the visitors and if they lead the motivation of the Betis players may be low. The question is can Alaves score? Betis have lost three of their last five. Alaves have lost six on the bounce. The last three head to head ended in draws and that is a big player here. Lay Betis at 2.30 as a trading angle.

Since the restart Betis have won two of nine, with six of nine Under 2.5 goals. Alaves have lost seven of nine games with seven of nine Under.

Real Madrid v Villarreal

Real Madrid can wrap up the title here with a win and even though Villarreal are playing well, it looks like the league could be about to be decided. Villarreal have lost two of their last three however three of the last four head to head ended 2-2, and recent games in Madrid ended 3-2, 0-1, 1-1 and 3-0, so all is not lost. I think Real will wrap up the league and win to nil, as they did in their last four home games and 2.75 is a fair price,

Villarreal 66% Over 2.5 goals 31% Over 3.5 goals

Since the restart Real Madrid have won all nine, Villarreal six of nine and both have had just four out of nine games go Over 2.5 goals.

Athletic Bilbao v Leganes

Bilbao are needing points for European qualification; Leganes are fighting to avoid relegation although that may be difficult. Leganes are unbeaten in three so are fighting and Bilbao have lost two of their last three. Six of seven recent head to head were Under 2.5 goals so don’t expect a cracker! A draw is not enough for the visitors and that may be their undoing and Bilbao can pick them off, so 1.83 for Bilbao to win and trade for stake back if they lead.

Leganes 39% Over 2.5 goals 8% Over 3.5 goals

Since the restart Bilbao have won four drawn two and lost three, Leganes have won two drawn three and lost four. Four of Bilbao’s nine games and three of Leganes’s nine games were Over 2.5 goals.

Barcelona v Osasuna

Hard to see Barca’s motivation if Real are leading early, although all they can do is try and win and keep their unbeaten run of ten games going. Osasuna are safe having won four of their last six matches and the only thing they have to play for is to not get hammered. Their last four visits to Barcelona ended 7-1, 7-0, 5-1 and 8-0. Not really a game to get involved in, but at 2.25, Both teams to score might be worth an interest.

Osasuna 44% Over 2.5 goals 28% Over 3.5 goals

Since the restart Barcelona are unbeaten with six wins. Osasuna have won four and drawn two. Four of Barcelona’s nine games and five of Osasuna’s nine games were Over 2.5 goals.
