La Liga continues this weekend and, as always, we’ve got the best of the action covered.
Friday 15th February 2019
Eibar v Getafe
Two sides who have had an excellent start to the season with Getafe unbelievably
looking at qualifying for Europe. Five of the last six head to head have been Under
2.5 goals and that looks a solid option here.
Saturday 16th February 2019
Barcelona v Valladolid
Barcelona have won nine of the last ten head to head with Valladolid managing a
single victory at home in 2014. The last two meetings today were Under 2.5 goals but
seven of the previous eight were Over. Betting Under in Barcelona games is risky
but they are not at the top of their game and it could be worth chancing.
Real Sociedad v Leganes
Only five meetings today at this level with the last two Over 2.5 goals and the two in San
Sebastian ending 3-2 and 1-1. Sociedad have been better on the road and Leganes
have a chance here with two wins in their last five away.
Rayo Vallecano v Atlético Madrid
The last seven meetings today have seen six wins for Atletico and a draw with Atletico
winning the last two encounters by 1-0. The four most recent games in Vallecano
ended 0-2, 0-0, 2-4 and 0-1. If Atletico have serious title aspirations, they cannot
afford to lose any more games and must go for the win.
Celta Vigo v Levante
The last ten head to head contained no draws. Celta Vigo won the last eight
meetings today and in Vigo the recent scores were 4-2, 4-3, and 3-0. Celta need the points
and must start winning these home fixtures.
Sunday 17th February 2019
Valencia v Espanyol
Valencia have won the last four home head to head games and there has been no
draw in the last nine meetings today of the two overall. The last four encounters were all
Under 2.5 goals but eleven of the previous twelve were Over.
Real Madrid v Girona
Real have recently dumped Girona out of the cup winning 4-2 and 3-1. There have
been only three league meetings today with Girona winning the first meeting 2-1 but Real
successful 6-3 and 4-1 in the other two. Goals seems to be the order of the day.
Villarreal v Sevilla
Normally a cracking fixture but Villarreal are really struggling this season and are in a
tough relegation battle. Four of the last five head to head ended in a draw. Sevilla
have won three and drawn two of the last six visits to Villarreal.
Real Betis v Alaves
Five recent meetings today at the top level with two wins apiece and one draw. At Betis,
the games ended 2-0 and 1-4. A lot depends on how much Betis are concentrating
on the Copa del Rey but they can also qualify for Europe by the league so should be
up for it.
Monday 11th February 2019
Huesca v Athletic Bilbao
Thee two have met just once in La Liga, with the game ending 2-2 last August,
Huesca fighting back from two down. They did meet in the Copa del Rey at the end
of last year with Bilbao winning both legs by 4-0.
