Real Madrid v Eibar
Real have won five of the last six head to head with one win for Eibar. Eibar have won only once in all eleven meetings today with one draw. Real lost at Betis and Eibar lost to Mallorca and Real cannot be opposed. With Eibar also playing in midweek, Real might coast this so Real to win and Over 3.5 match goals at 2.60 might be worth an interest.
Saturday 14th March 2020
Leganes v Valladolid
Three recent head to head with two wins for Leganes and one draw. Leganes are unbeaten in three at home, Valladolid have lost their last two away and three of their last four overall. Leganes are not great value at 1.90 but should win, Preference is to chance Over 2.5 goals at 3.00 as a trading angle.
Mallorca v Barcelona
Barcelona have won the last six meetings today, but apart from the 5-2 win at home back in December, the two have not met for six years. Barcelona grabbed a late winner at home to Sociedad last weekend, when Mallorca were stunning everyone with a 2-1 win at Eibar. Mallorca will make it difficult for Barcelona but on all known form are not good enough to win. Barcelona have won only one of their last five away so maybe Mallorca can frustrate them, a small Lay of Barcelona at 1.40 as a trading angle.
Celta Vigo v Villarreal
The last four head to head have all been Over 3.5 goals, Celta have won the last three. Prior to their defeat in Vigo last March, Villarreal had been unbeaten on their previous five visits. Celta grabbed a decent point at Getafe, their eighth draw in the last thirteen games. They have now lost only one in nine. Villarreal have lost their last three and need a result. Draw is the obvious shout here, but Over 2.5 goals at 2.00 appeals more and trade out if two early goals.
Sunday 15th March 2020
Real Sociedad v Osasuna
Only three recent head to head and Sociedad have won all three, two of the games were Over 4.5 goals. Sociedad had won three on the bounce before losing to a late goal at Barcelona. Osasuna got a valuable three points by beating Espanyol. Over 3.5 goals at 2.75 as a trading option.
Athletic Bilbao v Atletico Madrid
In the last eight head to head Atletico have won six and drawn one, Bilbao’s only win coming at home last season. Atletico are unbeaten in five, Bilbao have won their last two after going ten games without a win. Chance both teams to score at 2.25.
Granada v Getafe
The most recent meeting back in October saw Getafe win at home by 3-1. Getafe slipped up last week drawing at home 0-0 and may be having a minor wobble. Granada are unbeaten in four and are worth chancing at home at 2.75 with a view to trading your stake back if they lead.
Sevilla v Betis
In the eight most recent head to head, Sevilla have won five times with one draw. At home they have won three of the last four. Five of the eight games were Over 2.5 goals, two of the four at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. On current form there is not a lot between the two sides and Betis will be confident following their win over Real Madrid. It is hard to think that there will not be goals and Over 2.5 goals at 1.73 is a trading option, but I’m going to take a chance and Lay Sevilla at 1.75 with a view to trading out if Betis lead. Betis are certainly capable of not losing here, provided it is one of the games where they “turn up”!
