Villarreal v Granada
Villarreal were shocking last week at home to Valencia where any kind of half decent performance would have seen them take at least a share of the spoils. They have however, still only lost twice at home and that form should be too strong for a Granada side that have not won away in ten. The head to head shows Villarreal have won the last four in Estadio de la Cerámica and in nine meetings today at this level, Villarreal have won five, Granada two and two draws.
Alaves v Atletico Madrid
Just one recent meeting with Alaves drawing 1-1 in Madrid in August and they have played well in the first half of the season. The visitors should be too strong but Alaves have lost only twice at home this season and have had five draws. At odds of around 1.60 away from home, Atletico may be worth a small Lay.
Eibar v Deportivo
Five recent head to head at this level sees Deportivo come out the stronger with four wins and a draw. Four of those five were Under 2.5 goals suggesting tight games and that would suit the visitors who are draw specialists away with five this season.

Real Betis v Barcelona
Barcelona have won the last seven head to head and there are always goals. In the last ten head to head, nine have gone Over 2.5 goals with eight Over 3.5 goals. Despite Betis being in decent form at home, unbeaten in five, the visitors have lost just once in thirteen matches on the road. It has to be Barcelona so try them to win and Over 3.5 goals.
Espanyol v Sevilla
This fixture has produced a positive result on the last eight occasions so Lay the Draw is an option. Six of those eight games were Over 2.5 goals and in the reverse fixture in August there were ten goals. Either play the Overs or look at that Lay the Draw.
Athletic Bilbao v Sporting Gijon
Bilbao have been as good at home as anyone, losing just the first game to Barcelona followed by six wins and three draws. That form is too strong for a poor Gijon side who have yet to win on the road with seven losses and three draws. The head to head suggests a home win, Athletic have won three of the last five by 3-0.
Real Madrid v Real Sociedad
We all know Real Madrid will no doubt win but just a couple of stats to throw into the equation. Madrid have won six of the last seven head to head. In the last ten meetings today, nine were Over 2.5 goals with eight Over 3.5 goals and six Over 4.5 goals. In the five meetings today in the Bernabeu, the total goals were 4,5,6,7 and 6.
