Championship Trading Focus – Plenty going on in the Championship this weekend and we’ve got the best of the games covered with what we think are the best trading angles.
Just one thing to note, whilst we offer advice here each week, remember it is a trading advice so consider that when getting involved. If we suggest laying a short priced side and they go behind at any point, even after a few minutes, then we can trade out for a profit as that is what it is all about.

Derby v Sunderland
Derby are better than Sunderland but both are mentally fragile at present and that means anything could happen. Taking a chance on Sunderland winning at 7.50 (13/2) is not the worst idea in the world as both need a win and Derby looked shot in their last few games. Sunderland have lost their last three and Derby have drawn four of their last five and not won in seven. The two drew 1-1 earlier in the season and I would not want to be taking 1.57 on Derby who can be laid for small stakes.
Norwich v Fulham
Norwich have not lost in five at home but meet a Fulham side who are on fire. The visitors have not lost in sixteen and scored in them all. They are unbeaten in their last eight away from home. In recent head to heads, both teams have scored in four of the last five and both recent meetings today in Norwich have gone Over 3.5 goals suggesting we could be in for a cracker.
Middlesboro v Wolves
Boro have a good record at home to Wolves having won their last meetings today at home. There have been no draws in seven head to heads at this level. Middlesbrough have not lost in six games, and also won their last four at home. Wolves have lost two and drawn one of their last four away and as they near the title they have become a little more vulnerable. The strong home form of Boro makes me just favour them.
Reading v QPR
Probably not a game to get too heavily involved in but QPR should have a chance of three points here. They have had the best of five recent meetings today, winning three and drawing two. Reading have not won in none matches and have not won in their last nine at home. With QPR unbeaten in their last four they might be worth chancing or consider laying Reading to keep the draw on side.

Hull v Aston Villa
Villa need to get back on track if they are to keep tabs on Cardiff and they will fancy three points here as Steve Bruce goes back to one of his old clubs. They have lost their last two but had been in tremendous form before that. Hull have also improved and have won two of their last three so this will be a tough game for Villa. With Villa’s need greater I can see them winning but I think there will be goals and Over 2.5 goals and a Villa win appeals.
Birmingham v Ipswich
Blues had lost seven in a row before beating Hull but are still in serious trouble and three points would be welcome. Ipswich have lost their last two but are relatively safe. It would take a leap of faith to bet Birmingham even though they have won two and drawn two of the last four meetings today at home. Perhaps the safest option here is both teams to score.
