Nottm Forest v Derby
Five of the last six head to head in Nottingham were Under 2.5 goals as were the last four overall meetings today. Those six games in Nottingham saw three 1-0 home wins and three draws. Derby seem to be better at home at present beating Boro 2-0 whilst Forest had a good win at Luton, following two defeats. With a big chance of this game ending in a draw, it probably makes sense to Lay Forest at the prices, around 2.20 with a view to trading for a profit if Derby take the lead.
Birmingham v Fulham
Fulham have won only one of the last six meetings today with the three games in Birmingham ending 3-1, 1-0 and 1-1. They suffered a surprise defeat at home to Hull last week and Birmingham lost a thriller at Cardiff, but Birmingham have won their last three at home. Fulham need to bounce back, and this is tough so perhaps both teams to score at 1.80 could be the best option.
Hull v West Brom
Two matches in this division last season ended 1-0 here and 3-2 to West Brom at The Hawthorns. Hull have won their last three games and take on a West Brom side who have lost just once this season, away at Leeds. I’m tempted to go with Under 2.5 goals as a trading option at 2.30.
Leeds v Blackburn
Goals look likely with seven of the last eight head to head being Over 2.5 goals with the four games in Leeds ending 3-2, 2-1, 0-2 and 0-3. There have been no draws in the last ten meetings today. Both teams to score at 1.91 appeals as the best value.
Millwall v Charlton
Various meetings today at different levels in recent years and the stand out stat is that four of the last eight meetings today ended 0-0 and six of those eight ended Under 2.5 goals. A solid stat like that should probably be followed and Under 2.5 goals at 1.73 with a view to trading is the advice however games in recent weeks involving these two have seen plenty of goals.
Preston v Huddersfield
Four recent head to head all Over 2.5 goals and three Over 3.5 goals with both teams scoring in all four games. All four games were won by the home side, the two games in Preston ending 3-1 and 2-1. Preston are deservedly top of the league with one loss in twelve and Huddersfield, under their new manager are now unbeaten in seven. The stats scream goals, so Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 will do although I couldn’t put anyone off Over 3.5 goals at 3.40.
Sheff Wed v Swansea
Just the two relevant recent meetings today at this level both ending in home wins with Over 2.5 goals and both teams scoring in the two games. Wednesday are strong at home, but Swansea are the best away side in the league, being unbeaten. Swansea are a little big at 3.30 on current form but it may be safer to Lay Sheff Wed at 2.30 and keep the draw on side.

Cardiff v Bristol City
Cardiff have won seven of the last ten head to head and four of the last five at home with one draw. They ended a run of four games without a win by beating Birmingham 4-2 and Bristol City have only lost one in fourteen, although they draw a lot, seven of those games. Probably the likeliest outcome here is both teams to score available at 1.66.
