Birmingham v Blackburn
A game that has the look of a draw about it and that is backed up by the stats with four of the last six head to head ending level. In Birmingham the games finished 1-0, 0-0, 2-2, 2-4 and 1-1, again leading us towards the draw. On recent form it is difficult to pick the winner with Blackburn losing four in succession and Birmingham losing at home to Bolton following two great wins. Both teams to score at 1.91 looks a fair option.
Brentford v Hull
Only five recent meetings today at this level and Hull won four of them and four were Under 2.5 goals. The two games played in Brentford finished 1-1 and 0-2. Brentford were dumped out of the Cup last weekend and that may affect them so Hull could be worth chancing at a decent price in 4.20 with a view to trading.
Middlesbrough v QPR
A game that you would imagine would be tight and bring Unders into play, but the stats say the opposite with the last four head to head all Over 2.5 goals. In Middlesbrough the recent games ended 3-2, 1-0, 1-3 and 0-3. Boro to win at 1.75 seems fair.
Norwich v Bristol City
Bristol City have won their last seven matches and are unbeaten in thirteen and are the clear form team in the Championship at present. They travel to face a Norwich side who have lost just two of their last twenty-one. It looks like something will have to give here, although three of the last four head to head ended level so the draw is a big player. Norwich at around 2.00 will be popular but at 1.83, Over 2.5 goals offers better value.
Sheff Wed v Swansea
Swansea won the reverse fixture 2-1 in December, but their season has been full of inconsistency. Wednesday have steadied the ship under the new manager and are unbeaten in five, drawing the last three. Both teams to score at 1.80 looks a fair option.
Wigan v Ipswich
Ipswich have a decent record in this fixture although on current form you will not find many punters backing them to extend it. Keep it simple and take Wigan to win at 1.75 with a view to trading out if they lead.

Nottm Forest v Derby
A local derby that usually produces little football but is fiercely fought and usually very tight. Three of the last four meetings today have ended level as have three of the last four head to head in Nottingham. Forest look like a team waiting to hit form so at 2.50 they can be backed with a view to trading out if they lead. Derby have a tough run and look to be running a little out of steam.
Note: Odds are subject to change.
