Friday 1st November 2019
Barnsley v Bristol City
Some very strong stats for this fixture with four recent meetings today at this level, all Over 3.5 goals with both teams scoring and the two games in Barnsley ending 2-2, as did the previous two meetings today in League One. Although neither are prolific, games involving both teams usually have goals so Over 2.5 goals at 1.66 is fair.
Saturday 2nd November 2019
Wigan v Swansea
Two recent meetings today at this level, both ended level. Both are inconsistent however Swansea will be buoyed by beating local rivals Cardiff last week and they are better away from home, but Wigan are much stronger at home. Try Wigan as a trading option at 3.00.
Cardiff v Birmingham
Birmingham have not won in Cardiff on their last four visits, managing two draws. Four of the last eight meetings today have ended in draws, the two in Cardiff 1-1. Seven of the last eight overall head to head were Under 2.5 goals. Birmingham have won three of their last four, but they were all at home and Cardiff have not won in four. Both teams to score at 1.83 seems the most obvious play.
Blackburn v Sheff Wed
Both games last season ended in 4-2 home wins and five of the previous six meetings today were also over 2.5 goals. Blackburn have won only one of the last four head to head at home. Over 3.5 goals at 3.60 as a trading option.
Derby v Middlesbrough
In the last eight head to head, Derby have won only once, managing three draws. In Derby, Boro have won two and drawn two of the last four meetings today, three of those four games being Under 2.5 goals. Both are struggling for any consistency, but at least Boro have drawn their last two games with Derby losing two of their last three. A lay of Derby at 2.20 looks the best option.
Fulham v Hull
Four games at this level in recent seasons, three were Over 2.5 goals and the two games at Craven Cottage ended 2-1 and 0-1. Fulham drew 0-0 at Middlesbrough last week and Hull completed a fine week when beating Derby having already won at Nottingham Forest. I fancy Fulham here -1 on the handicap and at 2.50 I think they will win easily.
Leeds v QPR
Two home wins and two draws in the last four encounters at Elland Road. QPR are the best team in the league on current form eight match form and Leeds need to be on their guard despite both being unbeaten in three. (before Mon game) Over 2.5 goals at 1.66.
Reading v Millwall
Not a lot of strong stats to go on here with the four recent games at Reading ending 3-1, 0-2, 3-2 and 1-1. Reading stunned Preston in their last home game but had lost their three previous matches on their own patch. Millwall have lost just one in six and scored in all six. Both teams to score at 1.80.
Sunday 3rd November 2019
Charlton v Preston
Just two relevant recent meetings today and Preston won both, by 2-1 at home and 3-0 away. Preston are flying up the table and came from 2-0 down last week to win 3-2. The last five Charlton games have gone Over 2.5 goals and Preston have scored in all bar two games. Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 looks the best trading option.
