Wed 1st January 2020
Millwall v Luton
Only the meeting in October to go on in head to head stats with the game ending 1-1 thanks to a late Luton equaliser. Luton have lost four of their last five and Millwall who have lost just one in ten and Millwall are probably solid at 1.66 with a view to taking the stake back if they lead.
Bristol City v Brentford
In the last eight head to head there have been four draws, three ending 1-1. Brentford are unbeaten on their last four races at Ashton Gate with three wins and a draw. Bristol ended a four-match losing run with a win over Luton and Brentford did the opposite losing to Millwall ending a four-match unbeaten run. Both teams to score at 1.73 looks the most solid option.
Huddersfield v Stoke
Huddersfield won 1-0 at Stoke in October when both were struggling, and those three points were invaluable at that time. Huddersfield have lost one in five and Stoke have lost two of their last three. As a trading option, chance Under 1.5 goals at 2.75 and try to trade out after 25 minutes if still 0-0.
Nottm Forest v Blackburn
In the last eight head to head, five ended in draws. Blackburn have not lost in those eight games and have won on three of their last four visits to Forest. Forest have won their last two, having not won in the previous five games and Blackburn lost to Huddersfield, their first defeat in eight. Both teams to score at 1.85 looks pretty solid.
West Brom v Leeds
Only three relevant meetings today at this level with Leeds winning both home games and West Brom winning 4-1 at home. West Brom suffered a surprise defeat at home to Middlesbrough, only their second of the season, the other was at Leeds! Over 3.5 goals might be worth chancing as a trade at 2.75.
Thurs 2nd January 2020
Derby v Barnsley
Five of the last six head to head have been Over 2.5 goals with the games at Derby ending 4-1, 2-1 and 2-1. Derby look vulnerable at present and Barnsley are unbeaten in five. Both teams to score at 1.61 with the hope for Derby fans that Rooney can provide an instant impact.
Swansea v Charlton
Three previous meetings today in this division with a win apiece and a draw so not much to go on there. Charlton have had a little bit of impetus in recent games so Over 2.5 goals at 1.73 looks a fair shout.
