Rotherham v Sheff Wed
A local derby and Wednesday have won on their three most recent visits. Four Over
sand four Unders in the last eight meetings today so no edge there. Rotherham are better
at home but that is not saying much so Wednesday will fancy this, but as with all
derbies, it will be a tough encounter. Laying the home side might offer some value.
Aston Villa v West Brom
Another local derby and Villa will be desperate to halt the promotion chances of their
rivals. Only one recent meeting at this level ended 2-2 at the Hawthorns in December with West Brom gaining a point in the last minute. I think this game
screams goals.
Bolton v Norwich
Two contrasting sides here, Bolton have been awful with Norwich flying high. Five
recent meetings today in this league with four going Over 2.5 goals and Norwich winning
three of them. Bolton did frustrate Norwich at Carrow Road last season, but it would
be a shock if they win this, even at home.
Ipswich v Stoke
Rather surprisingly, these two have only met once at this level in ten years with
Stoke winning at home by 2-0 back in December. Ipswich have been poor all season
and is Stoke are to get back on track they will need to win here. Not a game for the
purists this is unlikely to feature many goals.
Preston v Nottm Forest
Seven recent meetings today at this level with six ending Under 2.5 goals three ending 1-1,
two at Deepdale. In the last five head to head there has not been a home win. Might
be worth seeing how the first ten minutes go as both are capable of goals and this
game could end those stats.
Sheff Utd v Reading
Just three recent meetings today and Sheff Utd have won all three and on current table
positions and form, that looks likely again. Sheff Utd are pushing for promotion and
should win but the price clearly reflects that so chancing -1 on the handicap could
offer better value.

Blackburn v Middlesbrough
Five draws in the last six head to head sums up how tight this fixture is likely to be
with both pushing for promotion. Seven of the last eight meetings today were Under 2.5
goals. Blackburn have won two of the last three head to head at home. Both have
been in games recently with goals so that is a clear option against the Unders stats
but as the draw stats suggest this could easily finish level again.
Note: Odds are subject to change.
