Fulham v Brentford

A local derby and both are pushing for promotion. The last three head to head at Fulham ended in score draws. In nine games at this level, Fulham have won just one. Both teams have lost just one in eight and are serious promotion contenders. Both teams to score at 1.80 seems fair enough.

Saturday 14th March 2020

West Brom v Birmingham

Three meetings today in the Championship in recent years, all saw both teams score, West Brom won two by 3-2 with one draw. A local derby with two in form teams, but both have lost one of their last two. It is a toss-up between both teams to score or Over 2.5 goals with both around 1.83 with slight preference for the former.

Blackburn v Bristol City

Three wins apiece and two draws in the last eight head to head, six of them being Under 2.5 goals. Blackburn had drawn their last three before losing at Derby on Sunday. Bristol City drew their last two. A really tough call, Blackburn are strong at home, Bristol City better on the road. Under 2.5 goals at 1.80 looks the best call here.

Hull v Charlton

The sides drew 2-2 back in December, their first meeting for three years since Hull won this fixture 6-0. Hull have lost their last four, and not won in eleven, Charlton lost their last three, will anyone know how to win? The two teams have had only one 0-0 draw all season, Charlton at home to Fulham, so Lay they draw as a trading angle might be the best bet here.

Luton v Preston

Just one recent meeting which Preston won 2-1. Preston have lost their last three so are likely to win based on this seasons up and down form! Luton have lost just one in six. As a trading option, Luton might be worth chancing at 3.20.

Reading v Stoke

Three recent head to head were all draws, two of them 0-0. Reading have won their last two, Stoke are unbeaten in four. Purely on current form, both teams to score at 1.83 looks a decent play here.

Sheff Wed v Nottm Forest

The last eight head to head were all Over 2.5 goals, Wednesday winning seven of them and no draws. Both got thumped last week to Nil and confidence will be low, particularly for the home side. Over 2.5 goals at 2.10 looks to be the safest play here as it gives us more trading outs.

Cardiff v Leeds

The two played a thrilling 3-3 draw in December, the first game to end level in ten meetings today. Five of the last eight head to head were away wins. Leeds have won their last five after a wobble and could kick on towards the title. Cardiff will be no pushovers as they have lost just twice at home this season and are a big price at 4.70 but Leeds are on a march and haven’t conceded in five games so back them to win to Nil at 3.10.
