Friday 5th October 2018
Werder Bremen v Wolfsburg
This should be a decent match as both sides sit in the top half of the table after decent starts to the season. Bremen lost at Stuttgart which was their first reverse of the campaign and the visitors have themselves just lost the one game, against Freiburg. Of the twelve games that the two have played, eleven have seen both teams score and the head to head shows similar stats. The last seven meetings today of the two in Bremen have seen both teams score six times and all seven games have gone Over 2.5 goals. In overall head to head, twelve of the last fourteen meetings today have been Over 2.5 goals, so either play both teams to score or go with Overs.
Saturday 6th October 2018
Hannover v Stuttgart
Two sides that have struggled and Hannover have lost their last four whilst Stuttgart won their first game last weekend. The head to head in Hannover has seen four draws in the last five meetings today and in the overall head to head, there have been three 1-1 draws in the last five matches with both teams scoring in those five games. Both to score is the obvious play but it’s surely worth having a small interest on 1-1 correct score to trade.
Mainz v Hertha Berlin
Mainz got off to a good start but have been sent back down to earth with two losses and a draw in the last three. Hertha have lost just once this season and have scored in every game and are clearly a decent outfit. The telling stats here if you do not want to bet Hertha away from home, are that the last five meetings today in Mainz were all Under and six of the last seven meetings today of the two overall, were also Under. Of the six games Mainz have played this season, five were Under and three of Hertha’s six games were the same. Stats say it must be Unders or an away win.
Dortmund v Augsburg
Dortmund deservedly sit top of the table with four wins and two draws and as you would expect, they are short priced favourites. All three of their home games have gone Over 2.5 goals so we should see plenty of action here. Augsburg have played six games and both teams have scored in all six with four of the games being Over, so their games are clearly entertaining also. They also have a decent record in recent meetings today in Dortmund with three draws and a win in the last five match ups. With that record it may be worth chancing a Lay of Dortmund at around 1.50 always bearing in mind that it is a little risky but at the price is worth a go.
Sunday 7th October 2018
RB Leipzig v Nurnberg
Leipzig are unbeaten in five and have won three of their last four. They have also scored in all of their games this season. Nurnberg have won two of their last three and bounced back from a 7-0 defeat at Dortmund to beat Dusseldorf 3-0. Leipzig should win this game, but Nurnberg are no mugs so perhaps Overs may be the call.
Hoffenheim v Frankfurt
Both teams sit in mid-table and have been a little disappointing, particularly the home side, but these are early days. There may not be much between them and four of the last six head to head have also been draws. The last six head to head have also been Under including four of the last five meetings today in Hoffenheim so those of you who like to trade the correct scores could use 0-0 and 1-1. Frankfurt look a bit big at around 4.50 (7/2) but a Lay of Hoffenheim may provide better value.
