Friday 1st March 2019
Augsburg v Dortmund
Augsburg who cannot win games, host a Dortmund side who have drawn three of their last four and who are being closed down by Bayern. This game gives Dortmund the perfect chance to get back on a winning run, but the pressure is building. In five recent head to head there have been three 1-1 draws but Dortmund have won on five of their last six visits to Augsburg. Normally Dortmund would be a bet here, but we can pass at 1.66 as Over 2.5 goals at 1.61 offers us better value.
Saturday 2nd March 2019
Frankfurt v Hoffenheim
Frankfurt are undefeated in six and are becoming a force to reckon with. Hoffenheim have lost just one in fifteen (written before Monday) and have drawn eight of their last eleven games. This must have goals but at 1.40 for Over 2.5 goals we cannot get involved. Four of the last seven head to head have ended level so try trading correct scores 1-1 and 2-2 for a green book.
Hertha Berlin v Mainz
Hertha have drawn three of their last four at home but have only won two of their last nine games. Mainz ending a run of three lost games by beating Schalke but have struggled on the road this season, with just three wins. Seven of the last eight head to head have been Under 2.5 goals although three of the last five meetings today in Berlin were Over. Hertha to win at 1.80 and trade for stake back if they lead.
Leverkusen v Freiburg
Leverkusen have won five of their last six home games including beating Bayern 3-1 and have won eight of their last twelve games. They were narrowly beaten by Dortmund last week and remain in top form. Freiburg are unbeaten in four but have won just two away all season. There have been three 0-0 draws in the last seven head to head but I’m sure there will be goals here. Leverkusen have won four of the last five meetings today at home so try them to win and Over 2.5 goals at 1.91.
Borussia M’gladbach v Bayern Munich
Third take on second here, but Gladbach have now failed to win in three and need to steady the ship, something that their opponents have done by winning ten of their last eleven. They have also won five of their last six away and they are closing Dortmund down. The last five meetings today in Moenchengladbach have seen two wins apiece and a 0-0 draw. Bayern to win and both teams to score at 2.50.
Sunday 3rd March 2019
Stuttgart v Hannover
The two losing most sides in the league, both have lost fifteen, so the most logical conclusion is that they will play a draw. Stuttgart have at least won three at home whereas Hannover are yet to win away. With doubts over them both, the best option looks to be Both Teams To Score at 1.70 which has happened in the last six head to head.
Wolfsburg v Werder Bremen
Wolfsburg are going along nicely but have been better away from home with seven wins against four on their own patch. Bremen are the current draw specialists with five in their last eight games but only three away from home all season. This should be about goals with ten of the last twelve head to head going Over 2.5 goals and 1.75 is a fair price.
