Friday 14th September
Dortmund v Frankfurt
Dortmund generally win this fixture and with goals. The last four meetings today overall have gone Over 2.5 goals and the last six meetings today in Dortmund ended 3-2, 3-1, 4-1. 2-0, 4-0 and 3-0. Dortmund have a win and a draw so far this season and Frankfurt a win and a defeat and on all the stats, Dortmund should win this comfortably and are slightly tempting at 2.10 on the handicap -1 goal.
Saturday 15th September
Mainz v Augsburg
Two unbeaten sides both having secured a win and a draw with Mainz winning their home game and Augsburg their away fixture. The last five meetings today between the two in Mainz have ended 1-3, 2-0, 4-2, 2-1 and 3-0 so goals look assured with Over 2.5 goals at 2.10 but on early season form, both teams to score may also be an option at 1.83.
Bayern Munich v Leverkusen
Bayern have won both games, Leverkusen lost both of theirs. Leverkusen do have a win in Munich but that was six years ago and Bayern have won seven of the last eight encounters at home. Leverkusen will likely struggle here and I can see Bayern giving them a working over particularly if they get an early goal and if you must get involved in the game, Bayern -1 on the handicap at 1.61 is a better bet than taking 1.20 to win the game.
Borussia M’gladbach v Schalke
Both teams have scored in the last five meetings today in Gladbach with four of the five games going Over 2.5 goals. Schalke have been disappointing with two defeats so far and really need to get back on track as quick as possible but this is a tough one and even though we can back Schalke at 3.10, which appears a little big, a safer option may be Both Teams To Score at 1.70.
Wolfsburg v Hertha Berlin
Two unbeaten sides who have won both their games and who have hit the ground running early season. Three of the last five meetings today have ended in draws and there may not be much between the two and four of the last six meetings today in Wolfsburg have gone Over 2.5 goals. Hertha are a touch big at 3.75 in their current form but that is a little risky and Both Teams To Score 2.00 appeals as slightly better value.
Sunday 16th September
Freiburg v Stuttgart
All the stats point towards goals or an away win with nine of the last ten meetings today being Over 2.5 goals and the last five head to head in Freiburg ending 1-2, 1-4, 1-3, 3-0 and 1-2. Both sides have lost their opening two fixtures which makes backing Stuttgart away from home at around 2.80 fraught with danger until we see an improvement in form. They may well win but that Over 2.5 goals statistic is very strong and at 2.20 that seems too tempting to miss, even at this early stage of the season.
