Eintracht Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin
Frankfurt have not beaten Hertha at home in the last five meetings today there, but four of those games ended in a draw. Frankfurt play Monday night but have lost three of their last four and Hertha have now lost five on the bounce. Probably the safest strategy here is Lay the draw as a trading option, as it is hard to believe the game will not have goals, although be aware the last meeting ended 0-0.
Saturday 7th December 2019
Dortmund v Dusseldorf
Only two recent head to head and both were home wins and both Over 2.5 goals with both teams scoring. Dortmund held on with ten men to win at Hertha last week and Dusseldorf got a valuable point at Hoffenheim with a late equaliser. Dortmund to win and Over 2.5 goals at 1.73.
RB Leipzig v Hoffenheim
Leipzig are flying high but have had mixed results against Hoffenheim in the six head to head with two wins apiece and two draws. Leipzig won at Paderborn and held on after leading 3-0, holding on to win 3-2. Hoffenheim have not won in two games since winning five on the trot. Leipzig are arguably a little short at 1.50 but they are playing well and Leipzig to win and both teams to score at 2.50 might be the way to go here.
Borussia M’gladbach v Bayern Munich
Moenchengladbach have won two of the last four head to head, all four Over 2.5 goals. The recent head to head in Borussia Park have seen two wins apiece and a draw. Bayern lost last week at home to a fired-up Leverkusen and Gladbach continued their good form by beating Freiburg. Recent home games in Gladbach have produced goals and Over 3.5 goals at 2.00 will be popular but Moenchengladbach at 5.50 is a bit of an insult to their current form. On reflection, better value is to Lay Bayern at 1.50 keeping the draw on side.
Bayer Leverkusen v Schalke
Leverkusen have not beaten Schalke at home in the last four attempts. Schalke are doing this season what I thought they would do last season and have lost only twice. Leverkusen have not won in their last four home games but drew three of them. Schalke will be popular at 4.00 but this game has draw written all over it and so trading around 1-1 and 2-2 in the correct score market might pay dividends.
Freiburg v Wolfsburg
Eight of the last ten head to head were Over 2.5 goals. Wolfsburg have lost three of their last four and Freiburg have lost just one home game. Goals looks the safest option here and Over 2.5 goals at 1.91 looks a solid trading option.
Augsburg v Mainz
Augsburg have won the last two head to head at home to Nil. Six of the last eight overall head to head were Over 2.5 goals. Both have been involved in high scoring games of late and it might be worth chancing Over 3.5 goals at 2.50 as a trading option with a view to trading out if there are early goals.
Sunday 8th December 2019
Union Berlin v Koln
The two have never met at this level and the two most recent meetings today in 2 Bundesliga ended in a home win for Union and a 1-1 draw in Koln. Union Berlin lost at Schalke but had won their previous three and at home, should prove too strong for a Koln side who have not won in five, but did manage a 1-1 draw last week. Berlin to win at 2.25 as a trading option and trade out if they lead.
