Hertha Berlin v Dusseldorf
Just two recent head to head of which Dusseldorf won them both, by 4-1 at home and by 2-1 away. Hertha have won their last two, but previously had struggled, whilst Dusseldorf continue to find life tough and have not won since the opening day of the season. Dusseldorf might be worth chancing here at 4.20 with a view to trading if they lead, with the alternative, a Lay of Hertha at 1.90.
Saturday 5th October 2019
Bayern Munich v Hoffenheim
Bayern are unbeaten this season and have scored in every game. Hoffenheim have won just once and have not scored in four of their six games. Bayern have won four of the last five head to head in Munich, with those five games ending 3-1, 5-2, 1-1, 2-0 and 4-0. Bayern to win to Nil at 2.00.
Freiburg v Dortmund
Dortmund are an excellent side, but I’m not sure I would be wanting to take 1.50 about them winning at Freiburg, with both sides losing just the once this season. The big thing in Dortmund’s favour is that they have an excellent record in Freiburg, winning five and drawing one of their last six visits. This game should have goals with five of the six Freiburg games and all six Dortmund games this season, going Over 2.5 goals. In fact, all six Dortmund games were Over 3.5 goals. Split stakes for trading and let’s hope we get early goals, Over 3.5 goals at 2.10 and Over 4.5 goals at 3.70.
Leverkusen v RB Leipzig
Leipzig suffered a reverse to Schalke last week which is their only loss this season. Leverkusen have also lost just once, and four of their six games were Over 2.5 goals. Leipzig have won all three away games and five of their six games were Over 2.5 goals. There have been six recent head to head, five of those games went Over 2.5 goals and Leipzig won four of them. The games in Leverkusen ended 2-4, 2-2 and 2-3. Leipzig to get back on track at 2.75 and trade for your stake back if they lead.
Schalke v Koln
Schalke have finally got it together and have won four on the bounce and take on Koln who have lost five of their six games. Both teams have played six this season and both have had five games go Over 2.5 goals. The fly in the ointment on the stats front is that the last three head to head ended in draws, and Koln have won three and drawn one of their last four visits to Gelsenkirchen. Let’s chance Schalke to continue their good form at 2.60 -1 goal on the handicap.
Sunday 6th October 2019
Moenchengladbach v Augsburg
The home side have won their last three and they have won three of the last four head to head at home with one draw. Augsburg have only one victory this season and have conceded fourteen in six games, with just a point picked up on the road, a 1-1 draw at Freiburg. As with Schalke, we can chance Gladbach at 2.40 -1 goal on the handicap.
Frankfurt v Werder Bremen
Bremen got an excellent point at Dortmund last week, but so far, they have failed to match last season’s consistency. Frankfurt are unbeaten at home and should continue in that vein, although they do have a tough trip to Portugal in midweek. The recent head to head in Frankfurt ended 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 2-1 and 5-2 and in the last six overall head to head, both teams scored in all six. Seven of the last eight meetings today were Over 2.5 goals and it is difficult to see this game not produce goals, although the prices reflect this. We could try trading correct scores around 2-1, 2-2 and 1-2 with the hope of a nice green book!
