Friday 17th January 2020
Schalke v Moenchengladbach
Three of the last five head to head ended in draws with no wins for Schalke in the last six meetings today. Both sides have had good seasons so far and were in good form before the break. Schalke have not lost at home in eight and Gladbach have slipped up recently on the road with two losses and a draw. Under 2.5 goals at 2.10 as a trading option.

Dusseldorf v Werder Bremen
Only three relevant recent head to head with Dusseldorf winning the last two and all three going Over 3.5 goals. Bremen will be hoping the break has done them good as they lost the last four games and six of their last seven. Dusseldorf themselves had not been in great form but did win their last match. The safest option here appears to be goals and Over 2.5 goals at 1.61.
Koln v Wolfsburg
There have been no away wins in the last ten meetings today. Four of the games ended in draws with six of the ten Under 2.5 goals. Koln have won their last three games and Wolfsburg have lost three of their last five. Lay Wolfsburg at 2.70 and trade out if Koln lead.
Augsburg v Dortmund
The last eight meetings today have seen both teams score with five games Over 2.5 goals and the other three ending 1-1. Dortmund have only lost once in their last eight visits to Augsburg. Both lost their last game before the break having been in good form before that, and both have been playing friendlies abroad. Dortmund to win and both teams to score at 2.75.
Mainz v Freiburg
Six of the last eight meetings today were Over 2.5 goals. Mainz have won the last three meetings today at home by 5-0, 2-0 and 4-2. The two have both been hit and miss in recent weeks with Mainz losing three of their last four at home and Freiburg losing three of their last five. Over 2.5 goals at 1.70 looks a fair option.
Hoffenheim v Frankfurt
Six of the last eight meetings today were Under 2.5 goals. Frankfurt have won the last three meetings today. Frankfurt have lost six of their last seven matches and Hoffenheim have won their last two games. I have a feeling that Frankfurt might win this, but odds of 2.75 are shocking and Under 2.5 goals at 2.40 is better value for trading.
Sunday 19th January 2020
Hertha Berlin v Bayern Munich
Hertha love playing against Bayern, they have won one and drawn four of the last six head to head. With those stats, whatever we do, we must have a small Lay of Bayern as a trading option, particularly away from home at around 1.30. Bayern are a better side and need to hit the ground running after the winter break, but the pressure is on and Hertha can make it tough for them.
Paderborn v Leverkusen
Leverkusen won the reverse fixture in August by 3-2, the only relevant head to head, although the two met in the Cup in October with Leverkusen winning 1-0. Leverkusen have won three of their last four away and that just about swings it in their favour. Leverkusen to win and both teams to score at 2.50.
