WUBT Betting Radio – WizardGold

My guest this week live on WUBT Wednesday 14th January 2009 at 1.00pm UK time is Wizardgold.

He is currently using a strategy from Football Cash Generator by John Duncan which is a well written, comprehensive manual that shows in precise detail how John has used his system to produce guaranteed profit opportunities from the live betting markets on Betfair. Wizardgold is mainly involved in the over 2.5 goals market.

The idea is to lay the team that has just let the goal in and is therefore at that time the loser in the game. The second part of the strategy is to put in a back bet on the 1-2 or 2-1 scoreline, which way depends on whether the home or away team scored first.

It seems like a good strategy but you do need to be aware that some games it will not work, like games that have only late goals. The other thing is the possibilities when the underdog team scores first and it was a lucky goal. You might decide that the loser at that time is still likely to win and perhaps by more than the 1-2 scoreline. We’ll find out how Wizardgold has been doing with this strategy on Wednesday.

He’s also a past user of Sports Trading Workstation which I mentioned in the post about Turftrax. Dave, AKA Wizardgold, is also using an 80/20 bet on the place markets which as regular listeners will know I regularly advocate and you can check up on Nick Shiambouros’ daily 80/20 bet here.

It promises to be a great show and I hope you’ll join us live. But, as always, you can listen any time to all the shows in the player above.

WUBT last week was in Australia with The Badger, this week it’s Spain and soon we’ll have a show live from Thailand, where I’ll be, re-broadcast by the WUBT production team (AKA Lee) in Malta with another guest who is a poker playing pro in Argentina. The mind boggles.

Finally, I just want to say a very large Juicestorm WUBT thank you to all past and future guests who give their time so freely because without them none of this would be possible. And thank you also to the hundreds of people who have commented here and elsewhere.

Good luck to you all as always.

    Hi John,

Have a great time in Thailand!

    Just a quick thought….

Why don’t you have a poll on your site that allows your listeners to vote on who they’d like on the show? I know there’s a few people I’d like to listen to and I’m sure it’d help in making the show more popular.

Keep up the good work 🙂

P.S. What’s that GIF in my avatar supposed to mean?!? 🙂

  3. Man of Mystery says

Hi Mark, I don’t see why not and I’ll ask Lee to comment further. The avatar was a random allocated monster id which I think is a standard feature of WordPress.

If you had your own Gravatar it would show that instead. More on that below the submission box. Lee and I have one and that’s why it shows our pictures.

I’ve changed it now across the site to a wavatar. Which do you prefer? Lee hates these BTW. On one day as soon as he turned them off I turned them back on again. I just find the default grey man symbol which displays if you don’t have a gravatar a tad boring.

Thanks for your good wishes on my impending travel. I’m looking forward to it.

These silly little monster Avatars drive me up the wall – everyone grab a Gravatar!!!

I wont turn them off today as its your Birthday, but tomorrow I am gonna hack the WP code so you cant get to them hehe.

As for the poll, no reason why not, although we could try some form of suggestion box.

Do you think we reach enough people for some one from Betdaq to come on?

I may try and butter them up with a free Betdaq jingle on future shows, although no doubt MOM will mix it with Nixon farting by mistake.

Ok will go see whats available on the poll front.

    Hi Dave,

You’re welcome and thanks for sharing your time. You were a great guest. Sorry we missed the FCG.

    Have a great day mate.

I’ve not tried this system but I’ve followed others and had some success. 2 years ago I followed a system like this and used a free bet to kick it off. Great becuase there was no capital to put down.

Thanks for having me on the show John, good to have a chat on air with you. We didn’t mention the Football Cash Generator which is a good strategy also. I have made money with it too.

The thing to note though is that you have to watch out for the size of the insurance bet. The bigger the insurance bet the higher the odds you need to be able to hit the profit target. Also it is only between 8 and 10 percent of Premiership games that finish nil nil so you have to decide whether you should put too much of a priority in the insurance bet.

Super internet radio show you have there. Nice one.
