At 11.00am UK time on Wednesday 17th December 2008 we have Michael Baker live as my guest on WUBT Betting Exchange Radio. He has been a trader on betting exchanges for nearly 5 years, two of those being full time. He is only 24 years old and trades on all UK horse races using Bet Trader Pro and Betfair. He feels that a good income can be generated if you have dedication and discipline. I’m looking forward to chatting to him and I know that he wants a trading focussed show so with his help that’s what we’ll have.
We’re now looking at the WUBT schedule for 2009. If you have something to say or know someone who might then just comment here and we’ll do our best to get you on or your recommended guests next year. I’ve enjoyed doing all the shows this year and thanks to all my guests over the last 15 months who have shared their knowledge and time so freely – without you, none of this would be possible
Mum arrives from Brighton tomorrow for the festivities for a few weeks which I’m looking forward to. I always think it will be her last – she’s 79 now – but fortunately she’s still in good health. Family’s important and my condolences to John the Gambler who will be facing Christmas for the first time without his mother’s presence this year.
My only regret at this time of year is that I never get to see my daughter on Christmas day. She’s 11 now and whilst my relationship is pretty cordial with he mother for several years now, she still refuses to let her travel to Malta as an unaccompanied minor. I guess we all have a cross to bear. And that’s mine.
We’re now ten days away from Christmas and this is as good a time as any to wish everyone a merry Christmas and prosperous botting, betting or trading new year. Or whatever else floats your boat. Ladies and gentlemen, good luck to you all, as always.
Cheers John.
I am now going to have to go down the pub and drown my sorrows.
I appreciate your thoughts.
Have a good one.
Have one or three for me.
