BetTornado is a user friendly free betting and trading app for the Apple iPad. Designed with ease of use and speed in mind, the combination of the Betfair API and several unique features make this app a must for everyone with an iPad.
The revolutionary smart menu, browsing history and bookmarking facilities make finding the market you want extremely quick and easy. Prices update at upto 20 refreshes per second, but you can throttle this back to save bandwidth and there are separate settings for WiFi and 3G.
The 3 different betting modes are designed to appeal to a wide range of users. In all modes you can choose to view only the selections you want to see and rearrange these within the markets to a convenient order. Graphs, market rules and matched and unmatched bets are visible at the touch of a button. Pre-set stake buttons can be customized and unmatched bets can be quickly edited with the unique bet editor.
Bet mode is a grid based view showing 3 prices for back and lay and with the familiar bet slip bet placement. When an event is selected all the markets for that event load and can be opened and bet on at the same time on the same screen.
Trade mode has scrolling ladders, full market depth and a hedging facility, with popup bet submission for fast trading. Unmatched bets can be quickly and easily cancelled or moved. Multiple markets on the same screen make cross market trading easy.
Watch mode enables you to monitor selections from different markets and sports on the same page and bet on them together on the same bet slip. You can add as many selections as you like to the watch – the top 4 will show in the mini watch which can be seen in all 3 modes.
Browser mode allows you to open a browser window within the app, enabling you to check scores, write email or browse the web while monitoring your watched selections and with your selected market and watches just a tap away.
There is even a training mode enabling you to learn to use these and many more features or to test your trading system without risking your own money.

The BetTornado software does not do one click betting, because we feel on a touch screen this could be rather dangerous. However in trade mode it is very easy to place your default stake with 2 quick taps which really doesn’t take much longer than one click.

This tornado app is there a trial or anything I’m stricting for horses and maximum return on arbs.. No trading .. Would like an iphone/iPad app when I’m out.. Use other software at min but pc only and it’s 29 quid a month but good and easy to use
Hi Daz, We can’t do a trial of BetTornado unfortunately due to the rather rigid structure on the app store. The app costs a one off £9.99, which is not expensive compared with other API software. If you are arbing you may find the watch window feature particularly interesting as you can load selections from different markets and watch them all on the same screen, allowing you to bet immediately the required odds are reached without having to navigate to the market first.
