Spreadsheet for Fast Moving Markets

Horses, horses, horses.

If you normally use football markets when trading your free bets, you may like to take a look at the better odds available in horse racing markets.

Horse racing markets can be quite volatile as race time approaches.

This spreadsheet shows the lay stake required over a range of odds so there is no need to waste time updating a calculator as the odds change whilst you are looking to place your lay.

Download a spreadsheet for trading deposits and free bets here: Easy_Trade.

Instructions for spreadsheet inputs are on the sheets.

This is the spreadsheet that I use when trading all my deposits and free bets.

Once you open the file, several spreadsheets are available via the Tabs at the bottom of your Excel screen that cover different offers.

The main sheets to use are :-

“Hedge Your Bookie Bet” when trading deposits and the “Free Bets” sheet for free bets with or without the stake returned.

There is also a sheet for trading offers that add a percentage to your initial deposit when that is included in your first bet (those may be few and far between these days), and a “Bank” sheet for keeping track of your transactions.

Also, if you make a mistake and need to exit your trade, there are 2 normal Hedging sheets, “Bet First” and “Lay First”.

If a bookie has horse racing markets, I always trade horses.

I tell myself that the bookie will have made a mistake somewhere and will have priced up at least one runner with bet odds very close to Betfair lay odds, or bigger.

BetSeventyTwo’s “Arb Finder” tool doesn’t concentrate on horse racing markets for nothing.

Horse racing is where the best odds are available for Arbing, and in my experience, free bets as well.

Oh, and don’t forget (to get the most profit from your free bet trades), trade short odds for deposits and free bets that have the stake IS returned, but BIG odds for free bets with stake NOT returned.

(Note by Corner: Please don’t forget Rule 4 either!)
