Golf Trading Idea

Video by Darren Hall. Here is a little technique that has served me well on the major golf tournaments so far this year. At the start of the event I backed every player priced 200 or over for the minimum stake of £2 and then look to trade out during round two or three depending on the price movements.

With outsiders doing really well this year, this strategy has proved to be very profitable.

Golf Tradingby woragoal » Mon Aug 10, 2009 6:15 pmI made £105 over the weekend on the Bridgestone Invitational using Darren`s technique and using £2 bets. Traded out halfway through the third round when Tim Clark`s price was 5.7 ( down from 230 ). Didn`t wait until the end of day thankfully `cause his price then was 300. Cheers once again Darren.

Hi Darren,

It’s a really big field today for the USPGA. Would you still back all players above 200?

I was wondering that very thing myself. I’ve current laid Tiger with a view to trading out later, but it would be useful to have other options.

The nightmare scenario for the back all runners over 200 technique is it Woods leads early and stays there-his price is always artificially short and he’s such a good front runner that if he leads early the prices of other players-even if they are close-will not fall dramatically. Personally I think backing the big priced ones can pay off but you need to cover on Tiger.
