Turftrax has a useful section called Predictor which rates the chances of every horse in every UK horse race race and compares with the value in the betting markets. Value in Horse Racing is very important for some people!. It also lays out the form in a display I like.
In total it can give you over 30 different factors including historical form and conditions on the day. Another feature I like is you can preset your preferred betting options and you will be alerted to opportunities as they arise at 11:00 every morning.
The Predictor gives you the percentage chance of a win and a place for all entries in a race. You can also view detailed performance data for each horse in every race.
The integrated betting function allows you to bet immediately at the best odds if you wish.
You can see all these bookmakers prices on one page for easy price comparison their Betting Ring page. You simply click any ‘best price’ or SP to load the bet slip for your chosen bookmaker.
You can choose your prefered bookmaker by clicking ‘My TurfTrax’ and have their latest prices fully integrated into the TurfTrax Racecards, TurfTrax Predictor, TurfTrax Editorial features, Hotshots, PointerPicks and anywhere else you see a betting price. Clicking the price will take you directly to your bookmakers betting slip. If your bookmaker is not currently offering a price, the best price will be displayed in black text, and clicking this will allow you to bet at SP with your bookmaker.
If you prefer you can opt for the ‘Best Fixed Odds Price’ option to be displayed along side the Betting Exchange price. Clicking on the ‘Best Price’ will take you through to the ‘Betting Ring’.
I find Turftrax very useful and it’s a shame they stopped the Live TurfTrax raceviewer last year which was outstanding. The Sports Trading Work Station used to provide a very similar interface but based on odds which is also now defunct. Shame really. But they’ll be another one along soon!
For about 4 years until July 2008 mobile tags were carried in horse’s number cloths and from those the position data was transmitted to give the best in running data ever. Ahh, a trip down memory lane.

Ladies and gents, my first post of the new year and there will be massive opportunities in many markets for respectable profits in 2009. I’ll keep you up to date with my views and along with my guests lined up for WUBT Betting Exchange Radio together we might come up with a few good pointers. Have a great 2009 and good luck to you all, as always.

Hi, when you talked about the turftrax raceviewer coming to an end you said “But they’ll be another one along soon!”
Can you give me any information on this?
I loved using the raceviewer to bet in-running but havn’t been able to find an alternative.
Cheers.
