I opened my Betfair account on 22nd April 2003. I was one of the first subscribers to Adam Todd's BetTrader and was a founding partner of JuiceStorm.com on 17th February 2007.

BetTornado is a new iPad app which enables you to bet and trade on Betfair more easily than ever before. Unlike most iPad betting apps which were designed for the iphone, BetTornado has been designed specifically for the iPad, and makes use of the larger screen to include many features not seen before. It works on both WiFi and 3G, with separate settings for each.  Completely free to use, BetTornado uses the Betfair API to give you the most up to date prices available.

Some of the features we have included are:

Smart menus with quick nav icons which enable you to find the markets you want to bet on much more quickly. Unlike the menu on the Betfair website, BetTornado has collapsible sections to the menu, saving loading several sub menus before you can find what you want. In addition there are history and bookmarks features which enable you to go back to a market you have viewed before with one tap.

Different types of screen for punters and traders, enabling traders to “hedge” their bets quickly and view full market depth prices, while removing the complexity of a trading screen from the simpler bet mode. Now you can view fast up to date prices without the risk of hitting a “hedge” button when you didn’t mean to.

Multiple markets from the same event visible on the same screen. Every time you load a market, all of the markets for that event appear on the screen. You can choose to view win and place markets together for horse racing, or match odds, over/under and correct score for football. You can hide unwanted selections to give you more space on the screen for the ones you want to see, and rearrange selections within markets.

Mini Watch window showing you the latest back and lay odds on upto 4 markets across all sports, visible from all parts of the app when in landscape view.  Selection name turns red when the market is suspended, alerting you to possible goals or non runners.  Bet at current odds through the mini watch.

Watch mode where you can watch all your selections or unmatched bets on the same screen, and bet without having to reload markets.  Perfect if you are waiting for a number of trades to be matched or for the odds to drop to a required price.  You can bet on multiple selections from different markets and sports on the same betslip at the same time.

Training mode enables you to practise using the software or experiment with trading or betting systems without risking any real cash.  Play with the settings and different screens and options without worrying about submitting a bet by mistake.

Browser mode opens a web browser within the app, allowing you to visit websites while keeping an eye on the mini watch, with the app still running so that you can get back to the market or watch window ready to bet at the tap of a button.

Additional features include a unique bet editor, customizable bet stakes, profit and loss display,  graphs updating in real time, matched and unmatched bet lists and many more.
