We take a break from the domestic league action around Europe this weekend as we are back with 2018 World Cup Qualifying games.
With just two games to play in all the European groups then we are getting down the nitty-gritty and despite some sides having already qualified there are still bundles of countries with a lot to play for.
This latest section of games are spread out from Thursday to Saturday so we thought we’d take a look at the best of the action with the normal head-to-head approach.
We get going on Thursday with England at home to Slovenia in Group F, with the Three Lions looking for just a point to qualify, while with 14 points in third it’s a must-win game for Slovenia.
Scotland are also in action on Thursday night from Group F as they take on Slovakia – and it’s another intriguing clash with just a point separating these sides so a victory for either will give them a huge advantage for their qualifying hopes.
Onto Friday, and Wales, who sit second in Group D on 14 points, will be looking to get something from their away trip to Georgia, but when the sides met back in October it ended 1-1 so it might not be plain-sailing for the Welsh.
While also in Group D, Rep of Ireland, who are just a pint behind Wales in the group, face an easier task playing Moldova at home – the Irish won the away leg 3-1 so will head into the game full of confidence.
Then on Saturday, France will be looking to cement their place at the Russian-hosted finals next summer with a win away in Bulgaria, while Bosina-Hz host a Belgium side that have already qualified. The Bosnian’s, who sit second in table, are yet to concede at home in Group H and head into the game unbeaten in front of their home fans in their last 10, so look to have a decent chance, but with Greece and Cyprus both hot on their heels it’s a game you feel Bosina-Hz must win.
As always here at JUICESTORM we’ve got all the games covered from a head-to-head angle, plus our best betting option on each match based on the stats – So, let’s get cracking!
