The Cup Final action is also north of the border this weekend as Celtic and Aberdeen go head-to-head in the Scottish FA Cup at Hampden Park this Saturday at 3pm.

Celtic have won this cup a record-breaking 36 times, making them the most successful side in the competitions history behind Rangers on 33, while their opponents on Saturday – Aberdeen – have managed 7 previous wins.

The hoops have scored in ALL of their last 38 vs Aberdeen, so we can expect them to find the net at least once again here, while with only 2 victories in their last 14 over Celtic then everything points to a win for the league champions as they eye-up another famous double.

Aberdeen finished a massive 30 points behind Celtic in second in the league in one of the most one-sided Scottish campaigns there’s been and there is little evidence to suggest things will be different here.

Yes, it’s a one-off game so anything can happen with Aberdeen having little to lose, but Celtic should have too much class for The Dons once again and can be backed with confidence to get the job done for their boss Brendan Rodgers.

If you like a dabble in the scoring markets then with a stonking 21 goals in the league this season Celtic’s Scott Sinclair will be popular at 4.33 to net the opener, or 1.83 anytime, while with 12 league goals Aberdeen’s Adam Rooney is sure to warrant support for Dons fans at 8.00 to score first, or 3.00 anytime.

Both teams DIDN’T score in 3 of the last 4 head-to-heads so at 2.05 this option catches the eye, but with a massive 7 of the last 9 (78%) of recent clashes producing OVER 2.5 GOALS then the 1.65 on this happening again looks a fair price.
