A difficult programme of games this week and for those of you that are new to this service, we will not suggest a bet or trade just for the sake of it, hence we so not cover all games. We will just look at a couple of games this weekend.
Saturday
3.15 Real Betis v Sevilla
This local derby was a nightmare for those that have followed this service for a while, this game will bring back horror memories of the night we bet a red card at a price much bigger than it should have been only for the referee to issue an unbelievable twelve yellow cards but no red. I said that I would never tip it again, as we would never get such value again and at 10/11 (1.91) we are correct. Eight of the nine previous meetings today had seen a red card before the “twelve yellows* game.
On to the match, and the last four head to head have finished Under 2.5 goals. Three of the last four meetings today at Betis have ended in a draw and the hosts will settle for that to deny their city rivals three valuable points. Real Betis have drawn their last 3 home matches. Sevilla have scored in eleven of twelve away matches and have scored in each of their last 11 away matches. If Sevilla play at the top of their game they will win but derby games are tough and I see the spoils being shared.
Sunday
3.15 Atletico Madrid v Barcelona
A ground that Barcelona enjoy playing on five wins on their last six visits, four of those by the 2-1 scoreline. In the last eight head to head there has only been more than one goal in it on one occasion, a 3-1 win for Barca so games are always close. Atletico have lost one at home, Barcelona lost one away. Atletico have not lost in eight, Barcelona have not lost in sixteen. Nine of the last thirteen head to head have been Over 2.5 goals. Barcelona seem to have turned the corner, realising that they can catch Real, so I expect them to win this against a side that brings out the best in them. Either keep it simple and bet Barcelona at 2.40 or try 0-1 and 1-2 in correct scores.
5.30 Sporting Gijon v Celta Vigo
Only three recent meetings today and Celta have won all three. Ten of eleven Sporting Gijon home games have gone Over 2.5 goals and they have conceded in all home games. Two thirds of Celta games have also gone Over 2.5 goals so sometimes it is best to keep it simple. Over 2.5 goals is the call but you could also look at both teams to score or play some correct scores for trading, 1-2 1-3 and 2-3.
7.45 Villarreal v Real Madrid
Will the leaders slip up again following the midweek defeat to Valencia? This is a tough game for them and odds of around 1.70 do not appeal. Villarreal have lost just two at home but have been struggling to score, seven in their last six at home. Real have won just one of their last four away but have played Sevilla, Barcelona and Valencia. The last five head to head in Villarreal have ended 1-0, 0-2, 2-2, 1-1 and 1-3. Real have to win, Villarreal don’t so it will be a case of breaking the solid unit down. Lay Over 2.5 goals at around 1.66 and either trade out at around 4.00 or if the game is tight stay in.
